- I already made a video with this song but I added Girl Meets Texas Part 3. To be honest, I was upset with how they treated the situation. Everything seemed forced and unnatural. Feelings are hard so I get the awkwardness. I also get that the episode was Riley centric but they treated Maya like she wasn't important in the plot. I hope the writers know what they're doing. Because I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one who feels this way.

I feel like Riley and Josh kinda manipulated Maya, they put this idea in her head (that she was becoming Riley and didn't actually like Lucas), they tricked her and convinced her that her feelings weren't real when they actually were.

Maya really does like Lucas, imagine her side, she also stepped back for Riley because she knew that Riley liked him. I could imagine how long she's tried to ignore her feelings for Lucas ;A; Yes she might as well like Josh, but there's a point where we like two people right? But you could really see how much she cares for Lucas but just push that thought away. I could imagine how day by day her feelings for him, or thoughts for him increases. ;A; Just my opinion.

I think that's exactly what happened. Because of Maya's like home life, she thinks she's not good enough to have her happy ending with "Prince Charming". She thinks Riley deserves it more than her which is why she pushed Riley and Lucas together
