haven't tried it yet but it will (maybe even has) get the update at some point, according to Google updates will keep coming until 2027

It should get OS updates until iOS 20 right? Since the iPhones from 2018 have the latest software that means apple now does 6 years of major OS updates

no, apple doesn’t slow down iphones anymore. only the iphone 6-7 plus

@@watching-thats-it I mean if your storage is full then it could cause it to lag or get slower, I have a iPhone 11 which has a very similar chip and it’s still fast. I also had a XR in 2022 and that phone was still fast when I had it, I never even thought it was slow honestly. My iPad 8 has the same chip and it’s still going pretty damn strong. Apps are more demanding every new iOS Version so thats probably why the battery is so bad especially if it’s degraded.
