I do consider a recast as the best option but it's still very hard to think. I really loved Jonathan Majors' performance but now to have it stripped away just totally sucks.

Marvel should've been starting the Cosmic Saga as the Next Saga to explore the Cosmology of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As well as introducing the Fantastic Four and having Galactus as the big bad instead of the Multiverse Saga and Kang, which should've been later.
I beg Kevin Feige please don't waste all this build up around Kang in the last 3 years!! It would feel a betrayal to fans like me who've watched every single MCU stuff from Black Widow to The Marvels. 🙏🙏

To be honest I just think that they don't really need that actor to go on They should just recast them. And I've been saying this for a long time. Let's have A comic book accurate version of the character or maybe CGI The character I just feel like his time is done as the character and we could move on from it. It remains to be seen what becomes of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. The movie isn't slated for release until May 2025, but with Marvel eying a production start in early 2024, the studio will need to decide how to adjust their plans sooner rather than later. Of course, Marvel could delay Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, but with there already being six years between Avengers movies - the longest since the first released in 2012 - the MCU risks ignoring their biggest franchise for too long. For now, Marvel may be moving forward with Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, but what exactly they plan to do with the movie remains unclear.

"Little time" lmfao. The next Avengers movie os 4 years away. They have plenty of time. Thanos had little to no screen time until Infinity War. They better introduce Doom. The Kang storyline wasn't working anyway and Quantumania flopped.
What you people don't get is that the MCU has been taking a disappointing turn lately after Avengers End Game, the Kang angle was now showing promise that their creative mojo hasn't hit a brick wall yet. Recasting Jonathan Majors as much as it is the safe choice, you will however see a progressive decline in views when it comes to that storyline. Lastly you cannot compare Terrence Howard's role and Jonathan Majors role those are by far completely different in terms of relevance.
They should recast Kang and have Giancarlo Esposito play the character

Loki has already established that variants do NOT always have to be identical in appearance. So ultimately MCU has already covered their butt with this inclusion to the overall multiverse plot. They can recast the Kang role fairly easy without much disruption to the overall plan. It definitely sucks as Majors was great in the role. But apparently not such a good human in reality.
Loki also established that the TVA is pruning every Kang variant. A new actor will always be a reminder of what happened in real life. Just have Doom, the more interesting character and true antagonist of Secret Wars.
they didnt recast t’challa. they have plenty of other options than kang now; with the celestials, dormammu returning, and literally the entire multiverse. they can also cleanly write kang out, hes just still trapped in the microverse. its not like they have any reason to go back now 🤷♀️

The thing is tho if they were really going to keep Kang then the name of the title would still be the Kang Dynasty. And that's not the name anymore so what does that tell you? Doom Dynasty or doom war? The movie won't be out till either 2025 or 2026 so they plenty of movies to introduce him in and guess what I bet you the new fantastic four movie will probably be the first introduction or in any other movie in the multiverse saga before avengers 5 and I bet cillian Murphy will play doom. Have him take the Kang technology and then end up becoming god emperor doom at the end of avengers 5 and for Deadpool 3 do some additional shooting adding in Doom since Deadpool 3 is supposed to be the movie that leads into Secret wars.

Believe me I would love to still have Kang because he's pretty bad ass even though I've always wanted doom to be the big bad ever since I first heard of secret wars and since he is in the comics. But I still love Kang as well. I adore both characters. I would enjoy no matter who it is. But again the title the Kang Dynasty is no longer the title from what we heard so it's pretty clear now. Plus the movie isn't until a few years from now so they got all the time to introduce doom

Exactly it's just an actor even though the role of Kang won't be the same still Kang is Kang. And who knows what if Disney and marvel rehires Jonathan majors to return to his role as Kang. I mean let's get real here there are many actors that have been fired for a case or being in trouble with the law and then they are rehired again back to their role or as a different character. Look at Robert Downey junior his come back was ironman and look how far he came along just being ironman 💁🏾♂️. Jonathan majors probably will and then again he probably won't come back to marvel now of course I'm not trying to stand up for what Jonathan majors did to himself fired but I'm just saying like it was said in the video we move past and if a new actor plays as Kang then it is what it is. I would say recast. Don’t do Doom yet. Doom is an amazing villain that I would argue deserves his own build up. I think Denzel would be amazing as a scary more expirenced Kang. If you do doom now I feel like that would be a waste of both characters. Make doom scary and see him show up in different projects beef his own avengers movies that’s not secret wars. Secret wars has peak doom and how would you move on after that will doom. Kill him? No. Make him the new big bad after secret wars

Everyone is saying to recast kang and Ithink it’s the best option but I think the best way to do it would be to do a gender swap and have her eliminate the other kangs. Would need the least amount of explanations to explain why the characters look different.

I'm 62 years old and love DC and Marvel .
I've been a fan for 50 odd years .
But imo Marvel are just pumping out all these shows , movies , etc etc etc .
People are just fed up as most are bad, imho .
The FF HAS to be good, or I'm just about done with Marvel .
Dr strange is my favourite character .
I just accept the changes that's been done to the character ( eye of agamotto, for instance ) .

For the people who said Kang can’t be recast due to a contract if he’s no longer employed because he got fired I would have thought that contract would be void.

@@marcusdrake2400 Thanos was the biggest villain Marvel Studios had the rights to in the 2010s. Thanos made sense. Now Marvel Studios has the rights to the best comic book villain in Marvel's history and they are dragging fheir feet with not only him but with Fantastic Four and X-Men only to give us sequels and movies no one asked for like The Marvels and Quantumania.
Bring Jonathan majors nobody can portray his character.. Everybody is not like your type to move on
