- Turns out you can get pre-owned DIY submarines pretty cheap these days. Doomed Lung does the inevitable, that everything in this world will one day be recreated in DOOM. This time however it's IRON LUNG (soon to be a major markiplier motion picture!)

Isn't Dusk on the same Engine as Iron Lung?

the way you described how this works "the box exists outside the map, buttons are just piloting the camera"... that's also exactly how the real Iron Lung works.

An audio component would have elevated this for sure; you can get away with low rez graphics in horror as long as you hit that audio atmosphere for sure.
I can confidently call this mod immersive.

What can Doom not do? Like Doom can be any game... but can any game be come Doom? I don't think so, Doom is just to powerful.

I wanted to say thanks for giving it a spin!
I do agree that the mod ran light with the ambience.
I tried to recreate the original game mostly from memory and I suppose I somehow forgot about adding any ambience.
So oops, massive error on my part there.
Not sure I understand what the map is showing. I see a lot of red dots. Does it show your location or a destination?

Hey Icarus, would you consider covering the doom mod 'Samsara Reincarnation' being able to play doom as the pilot from Descent or JC Denton from the original Deus Ex is pretty sweet.

That's your own opinion. The creator thought the game was interesting , so they recreated it in doom.
