  • The final inspection has been completed! With huge thanks to Dr Andy Palmer, CEO of Aston Martin, we can join the final inspection process for the car and the symbolic moment the wings badges are installed and it becomes a real Aston Martin.
We've followed this process throughout, from joining at the start when the body shell entered the paintshop to turn Cobalt Blue, to the production line for the powertrain marriage and final trim stages before rolling off and the very first start of the engine and testing before coming back now to see it being signed off and ready to head on towards the dealer and hit the road.
I cannot thank Dr Palmer and the entire team who have been involved in both my experience behind the scenes with the building of my Aston Martin Vantage GT8 enough for both the amazing opportunities on a personal level but also being able to share this content with you in so much detail. I truly hope you've enjoying seeing such a personal look inside a supercar factory and what goes into making such a fine vehicle.
    Thanks for watching, Tim

Aston Martin is an amazing company. Everything they make is amazing, the DB11, Vantage, Vanquish S, Rapide, plus their recent limited editions like the GT8, GT12, Zagato and Taraf.
My personal favorite is the Vanquish S, but have to admit the GT8 is one of the best looking cars on the road and being a limited edition will hold its value or increase it. And the sound it makes on start up is really thunderous, great description. This GT8 is so special, it will certainly appreciate.

Shmee, it is videos like this one that make me wish CZcams would have 4 rating options: Like / Love / Dislike / Hate
I would enthusiastically smash the Love button if that were the case.
This is absolutely going to be my favorite car in your fleet, it is undeniably GORGEOUS! I cannot tell you how much I love the spec, your colour choices here are so perfectly in line with my taste that seeing it under that lighting just took my breath away.
It is PERFECT, BEAUTIFUL, ELEGANT, and if I might venture to guess Salomondrin's opinion: DELICIOUS!!
Congratulations sir, and thank you SO MUCH for allowing me to come along on this journey with you in this series, I assure you I will not be missing a single episode of this piece of automotive art.
Merry Christmas Shmee, best wishes from me to you and your family. I hope you have a safe and wonderful New Years! Cheers!!
