I think whether they lost their love for her or not, they all had real love for her at some point compared to their experience with Angelina for example.
I think it's also to do with how they have either bad mouth, complained, or made a weird joke (the Sammi doll) about her not returning for so long, and they genuinely believed they'd never see her again. Deena blocked Sam, & tried to use "people grow apart" as an excuse for her actions. She was just talking about Sammi being childish & etc. but as soon as Sammi stepped into the house it was like Deena thought she'd risen from the dead with how emotional she got.

Sammi was my favorite in all honesty. She didn't back down from anyone especially Jenni. The problem with Jenni was that she took sides. She never really gave Sammi a chance and even snapped at Dina a few times. It's no surprise to me that Jenni and Snooki are best friends. They both act so innocent for the cameras and just hate on everyone not involved in their little circle. Sammi aged GOOD by the way. Not full of collagen and plastic surgery like Jenni and Snooki. lol I'm glad she's back.

I think what a lot of people aren’t wanting to address is that Sammi TOOK her time to get back into things. She took her time, she had her space and got into the right head space before easing into it. She came back when she felt ready and gave everyone their space. It feels uncomfortable but that’s cause NOBODY is used to being around Sammi and knows what’s okay and what isn’t okay to talk about. Which is good for Sammi because she can then set her boundaries and talk about what she is open to discuss. That’s what makes this scene feel so genuine

if i had to describe this, it's probably like, when you had a best friend who you saw everyday in school, you played together, sat at the same lunch table and had sleepovers and birthdays together. Then that friend moves away and years go by and you see them again. It's a familiar energy because of your shared pasts but there's hesitation because you're both older now and yeah the person looks and talks like your best friend but they could be a completely different person. Still great to have them around just a little awkward cause you haven't seen each other in years.
This is all scripted. You're telling me she never kept in touch with any of them or knew what they're all doing. She knew what she signed back on for..

@@runeplate123 Maybe just brief appearances to leave fans with anticipation but I think MTV doesn’t want to have his face representing JS anymore for PR purposes. It would be promoting domestic violence. Ronnie was a victim in certain incidents with Jen but he has an established pattern of abusive bx. If they put Sami in a situation where she is retaliated against by a former abuser, it would be trouble.

I noticed that too. It’s makes me uncomfortable because I think it’s rooted in jealousy or she’s uncomfortable since she was flirty with him in NYC and New Orleans when he was first with Nikki(I don’t think Jenni knew tho).
