I would say your 20s are the decade in which you really have to start moving forward. There's no waiting around, and "living life" (ie living a careless life full of wasting money on partying, drinking and ruining your time), it's a time where you need to start slowly and gradually moving towards something meaningful. I feel like this video doesn't tell you "you have to have everything figured out" as some people might think. What this video does is "you have to be in action, you have to move". Either building your body, mentality, your career, your business, you have to be moving. You don't need to have everything figured out in your 20s, but you sure as hell should be doing something about it. I just turned 27 last april, I don't have figured out, I started a very well paid job, I focused more on my body (I reinforce the MORE because I did it before) and I started looking after my health: as a musician, I did some earing checks, mental checks, doing blood tests and everything in between. I want to be in the best health possible for my 30s, want to be working towards my goals. I might not have everything figured out by then, but I'm sure i'm going to be working more and more toward it

At 29 this really hurts, but then it doesn't. I may not have gotten too far, may not have any savings,
but I'm not dead, on hard drugs, in a mental institution, and I overcame a lot,
    and I managed to manage.
I changed a lot and I became a better person and I did new things and I learned as much as I could from as many sources as I could find and I listened to my best mentors and I let go of countless things,
and I haven't made sense of reality, because I know I'm not a winner or a loser, I know that image changes,
but I am getting old enough to understand that.. mastery.. it's mostly a state of mind, an attitude, a perspective,
and I don't need anyone to agree with me, but I think that most people don't just try as hard as they can to win,
they try and they do anything they can to win, desperately so.
I notice that trying, winning may not be guaranteed,
but that the need to stop trying, to rest, for most people, guaranteed they need to let it go.

I was thinking about this the other day. I feel like there are so many successful 20-somethings out there now. But I am 36, and I feel like getting rich wasn’t even on our radar at age 22. For me I was still trying to party and find a solid job. I think the internet made younger kids aspire for more. In 2009, I was 22, and we were like whoa the economy, crazy! Who knows what happened.. but now there are 18 year-olds who can explain the 2008 subprime housing crash and are trading options every day and doing AirBnB arbitrage. It’s so different now. But I always say you are never as young as you are right now. So as you said, if you’re 30+ just get going.

I'm 32 and I think a lot of these type of videos are slightly misleading, it's easy to make something of your 20s if you grow up in a loving and supportive environment. There's a reason why all the top corporate and business workers usually graduate from the top unis and have generally good home environments. Even people I know personally who are doctors, finance workers etc all come from a nurturing environment.
I say all this as I grew up in a highly dysfunctional family, mum and dad constantly fighting and then it would be taken out on us. As a teen and in my twenties all I was doing was trying to escape home and then ending up in bad situations. So as disheartening as these videos make you feel you have to look at your own situation and on top of it like you said this stuff simply didn't exist when I was in my 20s.
Kids now have so much access to really find what's good and what's wrong and at 32 I don't think it's too late it just requires dedication a good solid 1/2 years can change you.

I just turned 21, three days ago and have been working out 3-4 times a week, and have been doing health insurance for 7 months and am on track to do over 60k my first year. This isn’t to brag or flaunt but to inspire and show that if you truly lock in, find what works for you, and grind to be the best version of yourself; that things will come ten fold on their own and your efforts will reflect in your reality. Not only will you feel more fulfilled but you start to understand the beauty of life and why it’s valuable to grind in your 20s and live your 30s gracefully

There is an incredible confidence that comes with age! you stop caring what people think. One thing i would disagree with is, you become aware that looks and good clothes is a very basic and superficial way to judge a person, NEVER EVER judge a book by its cover, truly. its honestly naive to judge a person so quickly. You would have met enough people to realise that. Some of the biggest successful people ive met! I NEVER WOULD HAVE spotted it.

But I do believe we do live in a world where money matters, and the more able you are to not live dependent on it ( doing a 9 to 5 every day working for your employer) It’s certainly important. We do all live in a world where we need to

I’m 35……. Lol. But I started at 29. I’m an artist/painter. I’m currently trying to combine hobby with business. I do regular house painting but I offer a twist by doing full murals on walls. It costs more and take more time but having a huge bob ross on your living room wall or a giant portraiture of Gordon Ramsey in your kitchen is extremely rare and cool.

Big fan of your brain Dan! I started a business out of high school, it went from working to not, then I went down what I saw as the "safe" route - went to university, got into a growing industry, and built my career. Now I'm 31 and I'm starting again, trying to build something (meal prep videos if anyone's interested lol). I'm glad to have had the life I've had so far, and I couldn't be doing what I'm doing now 10 years ago because I didn't have the knowledge, but I still think "god I wish I'd started doing this 10 years ago". The next best time is now. Anyone waiting to start, just put one foot in front of the other and your next step will find itself. Much like running, just keep moving forward. But make sure you run in the right direction and course correct if you need to.

I'm now 28 nearly 29 and I look back in envy at what I had and what the potential was going to be. I'm stuck in a job I hate with terrible managers and bosses. Life is cruel and especially cruel when its others that take it away from you.

Spot on. A hard truth is that marriage, mortgages, and parenthood will lock you down for decades; so best to table all three of those until you're at least 30, and invest your teens and 20's into building a foundation that will set you up for the rest of your life. You would not believe how your personal energy stairsteps down at 35, 40, 45, 50, etc. until you experience for yourself, so get started right away.

If all fails, try to do some walking. It helps a lot and makes you breathe better which helps in anxiety and sleep too so it's killing three rabbits with one stone

Own my own apartment and car, and I live very comfortably. But I didn't do any of this in my 20ties. What I did except finish college.. You don’t reach your physical or mental peak until your mid 30s as well. Should you not build now? No! Should you be frantically worried as to whether or not you’re on the right path? Also no!
