We have some similar life experiences but in way different timelines, I’m 51😂 I play drums too, not very good even though I’m in a band! Anyway, I had an R7, and I loved it! My body didn’t! At that time there weren’t many options to change the rider position. I’m actually thinking about picking up another one, I miss it. There are more aftermarket options for adjustability now and I’m reconsidering this bike. Great video! If you ever get the Attack set, please show me the lowest setting before Loctite.

That’s awesome dude!! Drums and bikes man they are the best!! If I ever swap to new rear sets I will. So far these woodcrafts have been perfect after I fixed the brake issue. But if I switch I’ll let you know 🍻 thanks for your time and checking out my video!

Bar raiser triple tree for dirtbike bars, could help with the posture and comfort.
Common stunter mod, but have heard people do it for your use case.

I put CFM/Woodcraft rearsets on my '02 Suzuki SVS after my first crash, (back in '02.) They were pricey, but the inexpensive crash replacement parts, (about $10 for the front peg, $30 for the rear, and $70 for the arm back then,) proved useful in subsequent crash repairs. (Unsurprisingly, as a noob rider I had a few minor crashes.) They were 2" up and 2" back which I appreciated compared to stock, (years later being old and fat, it was less comfy.) They also looked outstanding. Glad to see that they are still around.

Thanks dude! Think I got the brake sorted out. Other then the initial setup error on my part I love them!

Actually those rear sets look good , I always liked attack rear sets better , just saying is all.😁

The attacks looks sweet. I got these finally dialed in. But I’ll go to those if I switch 🍻

All you have do do is when the brake levers depress just make sure it has play wobbles a bit
