- Today, instead of discussing lore, I'm sharing with you my absolute favorite deck, the crown jewel of my collection. This is the deck I play with the most with my local group, and I always have a blast with it.
A HUGE thank to everyone who's stuck with me this past year. Here's hoping I have many more to come!

I'm glad you liked it; thanks to its' nature, not much changes in this deck so this video isn't likely going to be 'out of date' anytime soon.
This deck sounds hella fun to use, and I like the idea of it revolving around the queen. In time I'll have to try it out, see how it does.
I play my Sliver deck a little differently. I use all the colors obviously but it's green centric for mana generation. The tactic is turn all lands into creatures, then turn all creatures into slivers, then take control of all slivers. To give you the deck list would take up too much space here but here's a tip, look at blue Onslaught rares.

this was a wonderfull video for my own sliver deck 3 years after, im making one with the sliver gravemother so i really took inspiration, i also have ways to draw the whole deck and finish the game with infinite combat. so this was super complementary

Thanks for this video ! It helped a Lot ! May I ask why not use Food Chain ? If I am not mistaken, it would generate infinite slivers just with the queen, right ?
At the time of recording, I didn't have a Food Chain in the deck (I still don't have a food chain in the deck). And Food Chain doesn't combo by itself, just generates value.
I thought that with food chain, we could create a sliver with cost 2, then sacrifice it to generate 3, use 2 for another sliver … hence infinite mana. Am I wrong ?
I am not sure if a sliver token, created by the queen, would have mana cost though
@@rosmf You are - the tokens have a mana cost of 0, since they are tokens, so this would net you only 1 mana for the price of 2.
When you play with this deck, is there a pen and paper to keep track of triggers?
I don't usually need it, but occasionally I'll forget to flip a coin.
This deck costs a serious amount of cash.
Yeah, I've noticed over time that it's nowhere near as cheap as it was when it was assembled.

Out of curiosity, how do you feel about more token doublers? Like Parallel Lives, Primal Vigor, Adrex and Nev, Illusionist Bracers?
How do you feel about, Altar of the Brood / Altar of Dementia / Screeching Sliver as alt win cons?
Or maybe a control scheme with Telekinetic Sliver / Opposition?
Do you think changlings are worthy additions? Such as Mirror Entity, Morophon, Realmwalker, Unsettled Mariner?
Is card draw through the form of combat damage a good idea for the deck? Like, Costal Piracy, Bident of Thassa, Synapse Sliver?

@@couchsidecommentary1654 In general, I'm open to any changes to the deck that improve consistency over time, but the consistency being improved should be the Queen's infinite token wincon. Occasionally I'll swap out a card that's not performing so well for something else, though in general I'll prioritize something like Altar of the Brood, which is good with most cards in my deck, over Illusionist Bracers, which has fewer utilities.
I'm very much against including non-slivers that aren't immensely useful, so changelings are usually out.
To be short, new cards are welcome, but they should be aimed at improving the combo.

Why slicer queen as commander and not overlord?
Overlord is a fantastic toolbox commander, but the Queen lends herself well to combo strategies.
I’ve gotten yelled at for pronouncing Mana the way you do, lol.

Imagine running morophon the Boundless in this deck.
Sadly I found he doesn't work that well in such a synergistic deck.
I found he works pretty well. But I suppose he's situational, for sure.
