- In this video we are reacting to Vpop for the first time! This is a vpop reaction to LẠC TRÔI - SƠN TÙNG M. We've done a lot of kpop reactions before but this is our first vpop reaction. We really enjoyed this Son Tung - Lac Troi MV Reaction. [LIKE SO HE CAN SEE THIS]The sneaker wasnt a mistake. This song is about a lonely king, he have all these woman with him since hes a king yet he still miss his love one which I think prob left him. Hes stuck between the present and past, and doesnt know where he is. Hes living yet cant forget his love one from the past. So the shoes totally fit the music vid bc hes flowing between the past and present. That shoes was also a sponsor, even tho its no longer popular. They got sponsored and the shoes can totally fit the song so its not a mistake. Song name : Lac Troi (Lost)

He wears the sneakers in the video because it is a fusion of hip hop and ancient period piece style. That was the concept he was going for. Those sneakers are even more dope now because he wore them. hello ^^ It is not a costume flaw . Because this is MV about modern mixed with old day . The director deliberately filmed the scene of modern shoes. that is the way to attract attention, advertising the brand of shoes he is the representative. It is a longtime Vietnamese brand, it was no longer loved until it appeared in the MV. It made a fever with the shoes he wear. Not enough to sell. So, he revived an inland shoes brand. ^^

Watch the video again! The sneakers were completely zoomed in and featured at the beginning, implying it was deliberately done, but the true intention was to help u understand the MV better. The MV portrait a person who is deeply drunk in illusions (possibly due to drug use as u see at one point all the smoke appears). The man see himself as a king-like figure in his fantasy. One of the motif u could see is the portrait of a woman, which standing for a person that he can see or think of, but isn't with him in reality. However, after the smokes, she came to live! Towards the end, the illusion/delusion/fantasy was pushed further with head-spining visuals, possibly illustrating a climax with the woman in his fantasy world.
Back to the sneakers, they basically tell u that the "high" man is a modern person just like u and me despite the scenery and imagery are mostly from another era.

The sneakers are on purpose. This is not supposed to be ancient China. The singer is Vietnamese by the way. He's portraying a king who is lost after losing the love of his life. He's blending the concept of the past and the present, it's sort of the trend right now in Vietna where, people like to mix traditional and modern elements together and it's evident in art performances.

there was sneakers coz this video is the combination of modern music and kinda older and cultural music. ( just my opinion). you can see how hard he tried to put in so much transitions in the song progress. from the flute to kinda hard beat and then rap and then EDM. so much in this video i think.
