Quantity only really works when they're handling a volume of physically demanding work, or when they're all well-coordinated with each other in getting things done.

The fate of Tanaka:
As previously stated, Tanaka resigned from the company, having lost the trust of the senior employees (who disagreed with his approach to sales) and the new employees (who quickly came to realize that Tanaka's claims to believe 'numbers are everything' were nothing but excuses to justify his decisions). Tanaka however, refused to learn from his mistakes, and instead repeated them at each company he got hired at, until he found himself blacklisted. He was eventually forced to swallow his pride, getting a job working the cash register at a local grocery store. While a job where surface level numbers were all that mattered would sound like the perfect career for Tanaka, unfortunately, his customer service skills are terrible, and he is frequently scolded by his boss (who is young enough to be his son) for his terrible attitude.
He was unfortunately passed away via gun shot because one of his former employees shoot him down for his deception

Indeed, he was basically judged because the scar right by the antagonist (not to mention he probably planned to give the blame of his failure right to the same MC).
I mean: it's said the MC is a PRO...and I didn't even see him "worrying" that much....but rather, I saw someone being judged because of a scar and not because of his performance.
Damn, even in the first minutes, you could see how the antagonist wanted to "get rid of him" because of the scar in the end...not his behavior.
Also, if the MC had a problem about the attitude, I'm sure that he wouldn't have been a PRO (indeed...) like his former collegue said (after he decided to quit because of the antagonist that is lucky to have found a job).

Focusing on just the numbers was something that pissed me off about the corporate HQ for a business i used to work at. They only cared about numbers and could care less about the staff and the actual product. they just wanted more profit, so they could go on their monthly cruise and buy another $500k car.

Tanaka is too idiotic and too grumpy to realize that and worse of all he is too arrogant and selfish to admit his own mistakes and goes to the blame game thus isn't open for the changes and straight up fired the person who could help him manage their situation, Sato. Nothing wrong with the following data, trends and numbers but anyone should further analyze the further information and details behind those trends, data and numbers but Sato understands it and he teaches it to the new comers too so they can flourish in their work.
That's why Tanka failed miserably, Yes Tanaka's method worked a few decades ago when the economy was booming and rising but after the financial crisis the market changed and diversified thus Tanaka's old ways wouldn't work and he wouldn't change a bit so he failed and lost everything. While Sato was very successful and thriving at their work

I don't like how dismissive Noa was of Keichii's feelings. His attitude wasn't the problem. Being judged because of his scar was the problem. She had no right to tell him to suck it up. If I were him, I would've told her to stick her job offer where the sun don't shine.
Actually it was Keiichi who is at wrong. Not Noa. Noa never judge him about this scar. She has a point that never lets a scar stop you from working hard and overcoming any problems. at least she did not judge him because of his scar. She only crictise him for having a lack of confidence. You shouldn't let a scar stop you from achieving success.
