this sprayer has thousands of dollars in spare parts on it that need to be taken off and used on the other two sprayers that I have. not all the parts will fit or work but I can use a lot of them.
Hi from Ireland. I love if you would do another talk about soil regen .and your secret sauce. I reseeded two fields last year with 6 species herbal lay . It's grassing I know .but you have actually a great insight into the soil and the affects of round up . Thanks
It’s always great having a parts machine. My flexicoil sprayer’s tank totally blew apart when it was completely full of chemical in the field, man that sucked. Now I bought a newer bigger flexicoil and now I have lots of parts now.
I bet that there are at least 10 watchers looking at your sprayer who live close to you who could repurpose the sprayer frame, wheels and tires, and possibly other parts. I myself definitely wouldn’t reuse any of the chemical tanks for drinking water. Wes congratulations i see you just crossed 150,000 subscribers.
If it wasnt for not being on the absolute straight and narrow CZcams requires these days he'd likely be on double now. Such is the way of the world. I'm just glad he didn't give up! Channel was definitely artificially being squashed.
Hey Wes, have you ever heard of Byron seeds? They do a lot of cover crop seed. They have been doing research on the benefits summer annual’s especially sorghums and Sudan grass has on soil. Just an idea seeing as you already have hay equipment. We will take a winter cover like triticale, harvest it in spring and no till a summer annual mix into that. harvest that in fall and then no till wheat or a blend of something for the following winter. All you would need is a bale wrapper and you could sell baleage. It gives your ground another added rotation which I found is always a benefit. Selling forage isn’t a problem here. We’ve found most times you don’t even need to use any chemical which is always a bonus. Just something to think about.
We have a little BNL50 3pt hitch sprayer with a 15(?) ft boom and hand wand we mainly use for spot spraying fence lines and surplus area. Rebuilt the pump, pressure regulator and wand. You’re right, they are pricey, and the fittings are British straight and British tapered pipe thread and a bear to adapt to anything more readily available. It’s been relatively trouble free and parts are easy to find on-line.
I run a teejet controller and gps with auto boom on my Hardi sprayer. And I run teejet nozzles on mine also. It works very good zero problems. Any questions feel free to ask
I've rebuilt a couple of those Hardee pumps, I paid $650 for the rebuild kits. This was a couple years ago though so prices might have changed, also my crankshafts were good but not sure what yours needs
Mr. Pandy, I have been watching your channel for years and have enjoyed it. I'm getting concerned about your coughing. Have you been too a doctor to get it checked. God bless you and your family.
man i would love to have that frame. i am getting ready to take my pickup sprayer and make a frame to pull behing the tractor and cant find the right axles to use or rims. i only do 150 acres of hay and 100 acres of corn.
It's about the evolution of farming and techniques. It is about conservation, efficiency, and controlling the costs of inputs such as seed and fertilizer. Controlling costs is a vital cost of any business. In other words, call it farmers going green.
Search for marine grade all stainless steel hose clamps. They are high, like $2.25 for a 2” but nothing pisses me off when the cheap-o’s screw rusts out. I’m sure you can get them a little cheaper if you buy them in bulk (75-100 clamps.)
Hey wes I save parts i take off from our vehicles if they look half Decent. Although brakes all get pitched. The amount of salt they use out here on the tundra is obnoxious.
If the booms are worth anything I’d like to purchase them. I could make a trip up. I’d cut them down some and adapt them to my sprayer. It only had 20’ total spread with and I’ve been wanting to build something better but new steel and the parts to go with are so expensive. I can send an email if you reply with your email address Wes.
I really wish manufacturers would make new/upgraded parts interchangeable with the old ones, its such a fuck you to customers when stuff just dosent fit because an engineer decided to fuck around and redesign something and make it work in a competely different way.
You should keep that sprayer tank and frame and turn it into a fire water tank in case when you know when you have a tractor or square baler fire at least you have a water tank to handle that fire. Or turn it into a desel fuel tank. Waste Not Want Not
I really enjoy all the videos. Been watching for a few years. This may be the dumbest question you have ever had but, why do you work all day in your own shop and all day in a tractor with a wallet in your back pocket. I absolutely despise having one on me especially when I am driving. Any way I told you it was a dumb question. Really enjoy the content sir.
we used a hydo pump with a ele. val. to set psi. and ele on and off val. for are spraying ... hoses , . clamp for the 1 in. squar tub. brass or steel T's,. hose barb fitting ,. nipples ,srpay tips that was in the 1970,80.and 90's,.on more than 1 tractor.
I have a chronic cough due to living in East Tennessee, according to my MD. I used to get the Halls honey lemon from Sam’s Club but now they sell Ricola lemon mint. Always sugar free because I’d probably be a diabetic from the sugary cough drops. Either brand is ok with me. I could choke at times on the phlegm if not for the cough drops.
Why do you get into 3D printing You can print them out of carbon fibre or resin probably somebody making them out there or do it for you. There is companies that will 3D print if you send them the CAD design what you can do on your computer I think it's JPEG generally
😂 I wondered who still buys Hardi. I traded my Navigator 3500 in 2017, it was the biggest piece of junk. Dealers dropped them cause Hardi is such a pathetic shitty company. Most dealers won’t take a Hardi sprayer on trade cause they can’t sell them. MM Weaver took mine cause I’m a good customer.
@@onelonleyfarmer Mine had pump problems after problems, problems with one hydraulic boom, etc. etc. Try finding anyone at Hardi that knows anything technical. It's ridiculous. I'm running a Jacto Advance 2000 which is been pretty good but parts are expensive. Whenever I buy a new one, it will probably be a CropCare. Paul Zimmerman builds a really nice reliable sprayer.
Man you did not listen to a thing he has said. He is comparing easily erodible soils and how minimum or covercrops save the top soils. Yall are so quick to take his comments as personal insults over basic conversations.. learn to listen to what he is saying, not what you want to hear..He is showin that you are never to smart to stop learning new ways to save money. Or make money.
Wes is simply stating the obvious and not bashing anyone. Without a doubt tillage is very hard on soil eco system which is what he is saying. If you don’t understand soil eco systems you should not be farming putting it mildly
I need to make correction in that if you have no interest in learning soil eco system you should not be in farming as I was once ignorant of it as well as very few people start off farming understanding it
There are many different ways one can farm and be in tune with the natural eco system but tillage is not one of them. If your system does not do well without tillage it is because you are not in tune with things. Probably winter cover crops that get put on top of soil following spring would fix the problem and after a few years would build your soil and your checking account.
It's not like the professor to give up on a piece of machinery regardless of condition, age, cost etc. Always interesting and informative, thanks!
Hey Wes, keep up the great Work. Always enjoyed your Videos.
Would love to See a (running) Tractor Tour pt2

Nice to see some good old Danish equipment 😁😁
Been staring at 149k for a long time. Congrats on 150!
Good idea Wes have a good day.
Hi Wes from northwest Missouri congratulations on 150 k subscribers Bud

The tank will be handy for a tender tank
150k, finally made it 🥳
Good content. 👍

We like best-way sprayers booms protect the nozzles very well and run teejet parts that we can get from tsc on Sunday
Good video.
Hey Wes if you need to find SS hose clamps look for marine hose clamps.
Does the tank on that one fit the other one
Mr. Pandy, I have been watching your channel for years and have enjoyed it.
I'm getting concerned about your coughing. Have you been too a doctor to get it checked.

You can start " One Lonely Farmer used sprayer parts"...
Hey OLF. I use old filing cabinets to hold my spare parts an tools. They work great. I have 15 of them. Makes my life easier.
Good tip!
Awesome
Totally agree with you on the proprietary nature of Hardi, but they are good machines generally. Did you see the Hardi sprayer at Lamma?
I can remember the video where you welded the plates in the rims because they where starting to crack
Look into ag leader gps I love my incommand displays and steady steer steering
👍👍
I would Save the wheels, hubs and axle stubs.
man i would love to have that frame. i am getting ready to take my pickup sprayer and make a frame to pull behing the tractor and cant find the right axles to use or rims. i only do 150 acres of hay and 100 acres of corn.
Pay OLF the scrap value of it and go and pick it up then before he cuts it to peaces?
👍🏼🍻

That's why I went with Crop Care. No proprietary parts.

Thumbs up
Local consignment auction take stuff like a parted out sprayer? Bet there is someone that would pay $$ for those tanks and booms.
Hey wes I save parts i take off from our vehicles if they look half Decent. Although brakes all get pitched. The amount of salt they use out here on the tundra is obnoxious.
Nickels, dimes, and dollars will eat any potential profit! 😅

I would actually purchase whatever is left after your done with it.
I really wish manufacturers would make new/upgraded parts interchangeable with the old ones, its such a fuck you to customers when stuff just dosent fit because an engineer decided to fuck around and redesign something and make it work in a competely different way.

I would just sell it at a farm sale, used stuff is bringing big money
I really enjoy all the videos. Been watching for a few years. Just don’t think about it really.
Factor in the time you would spend chasing those parts from a dealer....when needed to replace.....
Hiya Wes

there good sprayers there just difficult to get parts for.
