Bias FX2 is so powerful if you know how to make it work. It's highly underrated nowadays, people say it sounds bad when compared to other plugins because they only try factory preset or random bad presets from the ToneCloud.
I own some of the most popular plug-ins but my favorite sounds are mostly from Bias

Yes, it sounds good but it has really bad optimisation. And it lags often at least on windows, even on very powerful PCs.
I used to love bias fx but because of that issues I have switched to helix native.

nice job! i just feel when we double or quad track it, it gets a lot muddy due to high gain. I would probably tweak down the gain a bit.

They play the chromatic power chords off the E, not the A. James is big on going higher up the frets on the E and A for those low C, B, A#, etc. Comes from his influences in the old days (Sabbath, etc.), it's the same pitch, but heavier because of the thicker strings. Also looks cooler playing those chords higher on the neck, if you ask me. Plus less finger stretching.

Nice vid mate great tone matching...but you should probably tell the punters below to use Emgs to get a better result ..also I find the celestion wav 3 file better than the stock treadplate to get a more meatier sound imo.Devildriver Hold back the day tone ...tubescreamer...9 oclock drive....High gain EL 34..plus celestion wav 3 IR..touch of reverb
