you need it with them , it makes the rack lower range = less twitchy at +120mph where you dont want to add big steering input in a short wheelbase car that has bad aero / wants to fly beyond 120 with his 160mph r32 box .

Even with roll cage, if you crash at this speed in this car, you are 99% ending up with bad injuries, life changing injuries, I would rather die than to live as a plant. This is a car for hard men, who like to die hard 😂

I had a R5gtt around 200bhp and me and my mate stripped the interior under the rear seats where the manufacturer press holes were it was starting tear the chassis open like a can opener had been on it, so with 800bhp I hope he’s strengthening the chassis

Hi. I once had a Renault 5. I built it on my own terms - this car is amazing, it's a piece of history. The GT Turbo had 125 HP from the factory

I had one of those in 1996, and 200 bhp was mental. It would wheel spin in every gear, and the torque steer was immense. It probably will take off with nearly 800 bhp, and that's why some cars have the body modified. It must be one of the craziest mods ever. Love it!

The VR engines with turbocharging are simply completely crazy engines, 3.2L and 6 cylinders in this small area that they even fit in an R5 show once again how brilliant the concept is. It's hard to believe that building 800 hp in a small car by today's standards really requires a firearms license... I once drove the R32 as a supercharger with 400 hp and that wasn't slow... but twice the power in a much lighter car That must be really dangerous

A long long time ago I had a (red!) mk2 Renault 5 with all of 68bhp and I know full well how twitchy they can be - accidentally did a 540-degree spin on a damp roundabout at 30mph one day. This with twelve times the power, even with more rubber on the road, must be a bit 'interesting'! (It's also much tidier than mine ever was, even 30 years ago.)
