- Summer is here which means sandals are here. I thought I would create another cheap vs expensive comparison video this time expensive luxury sandals vs cheap sandals (dupes, knockoff sandals). I went and bought the iconic Hermes Oran sandal ($650) and found many dupes to compare. Let's see how all of these sandals compare to each other and why would someone pay so much or so little money.

Honestly, this is one of the more better review views of the Oran sandal. You don’t know how many people I’ve seen talk about this sandal for almost 5-10 minutes all the while giving zero useful information on it. There are definitely a lot of shoes that I either like or dislike and some grow on me. For example, I used to despise the Birkenstock’s but recently they’ve come out with fun color ways and I think I’m being converted haha

Great reviews love how you go into detail I have the Sam Edelman in white and leopard they are super dope I would never pay that much for a Sandal 650 is ridiculous amount . I also have the Steve Madden one in white they are cute and fit the bill for the look . The highest I’ve ever paid for sandals are my Tory Burch Miller’s they are super cute and never go out of style and dress up or down and I have a couple pair of those in regular leathers and patent leather . Thanks for sharing

I got sy pair from Amazon UK for £11. Ok they are not real leather and not as good quality. But when they are on your feet, honestly who would know the difference, only you. And these are super comfortable! 😄 Thanks for the comparison! 😄

I actually prefer the dupe versions that don’t have the square shaped toe. Round is more flattering, square makes feet look wide & stubby.

I wouldn't say the Sam Edelman are similar...not what I was looking for, to begin with. But, this video is from June of 2019 and now it's 2021. I just purchased the STEVEN by Steve Madden ones on Amazon and they are almost identical to the Hermes with the outline stitching. I also purchased a saddle tan pair on Amazon last year that are great dupes but they are no longer available...they have no brand on them and I'm pretty positive they are the ones you are showing toward the end...PERFECT. Great video...I love ALL of your videos!

Saaaad im like 3 years late to this video LOL so the Amazon dupe link is no longer working. Couldn’t find the dupes anywhere on Amazon. Settled for the Steve Madden ones. They have newer models that have more detailed stitched and some better cushioning, so im excited to receive them! Thank you for the video :) i can’t wait
It’s crazy cause they have dupes so much better no one can tell the difference any longer cause there are so many dupes. I would just use money for something else personally but to each their own . If you like them and can afford it go for it enjoy 😊

I have the Steve maddens and they r the worst. Took a hard time to break in and I would slip around everywhere bc I live in fl where it’s humid. I think there’s diff versions of the Steve Madden ones. They hurt. Until u break them in. IMO.

I wouldn't consider paying $650 for a sandal that doesn't provide arch support. Watch You Tube videos with podiatrists saying that when buying sandals or other types of shoes, arch support is essential.Many other things about shoes we buy are just as important but you'll have to watch channels such as Healthy Feet Podiatry, D.C. Foot Doctor and Toe Bro. You start learning that pedicures are a lot more than shaping and polishing toenails. It's also about getting s healthy feet pedicure which deep cleans underneath the front and sides of all the dead skin.And now, stepping off my soap box with pretty, arched sandals, I say ENOUGH ABOUT FEET!!!

Mine also kept saying it was going to arrive later but it came more than a week earlier than it was supposed to.

I am so confuse on which size to get. My shoe size varies from 6.5 - 7.5 depending on the brand. I wear size 7 in Banana Rep sandals, 7.5 in Steve Madden, 7.5 in Tory Burch. Any suggestions about sizing?
I would go with 7.5 if they have the option... they're a bit narrow.

I bought the replicas. They are really cute but run wide and rub the inside of my foot and by the end of the day caused a blister. I am going to donate them to goodwill for the sake of my feet.

The Sam edelman’s are my favorite ones I think. I can’t really afford designer clothing/shoes. But I don’t like to buy dupes. So I like that they are inspired by Hermès but they are different enough that they don’t steal the thunder or something, cannot find my words to explain what I want to say..
I think I will just get fancy Birkenstock’s that support my high arched, narrow over pronating feet. I just don’t have a reason to get uncomfortable unsupportive slides. I also hate the idea of wearing fake leather / plastic that could be leeching chemicals into my skin and feet. Not worth trying to impress people. Usually, the richest most impressive people refuse to wear logos or promote any brand other than their own.
