Do it yourself! Save money and learn something new when it's time to key or re-key your BMW motorcycle locks. In this video I will walk you through setting up BMW luggage/panniers locks for the first time. I'm not an expert by any means but have always thought, "You can learn a lot from a dummy"! 😀 - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Great video. This was supposed to be done by the BMW company, but they forgot to set the lock from my key. Thank You buddy! Cheers
Great video. Love the end , jumping off the bike.
Thanks a lot for the video! I re-keyed my top box thanks to the helpful instructions here.

Thank you!👍
Welcome!
Really nice video! At 5:21 the video says not to put one of the tumblers in, and it says "more on this later", but I did not understand why and I did not see anything later in the video about it. Can you share "why" not to put that one in. THX!!!
Thank you! Yes at 6:22 I talk about keeping the last tumbler out as it won't allow your key to be removed if let in.
Thank you!!!
Welcome!
Did everything exactly like the video, i got it in the box too. But my key wont turn. Its stuck in the lock position. How do I get it back out?
Hmm, not 100% sure what is causing your problem. Did you leave the last tumblers out? I showed this here czcams.com/video/2OpjeLVdF-0/video.html at 5:21. This will cause problems.
Same problem here how die you fix it ?
@@Daltonwwp You have to force it back out, then dismantle the entire key. I left out a couple of locks in the cylinder. Now it works.
@@semvv8638 okay thanks, so you can't take it out like you normally take out a cylinder?
@@Daltonwwp No the mechanism is stuck but not locked, it should come out by just tugging on it. No tools needed.
What’s the part number
When the video starts, it's right on the package. And, it reads 77 49 8 544 517
@@BikesCameraAdventure ooops sorry and thank you !
There is also a kit with 8 cylinders packaged together that is less expensive than buying them individually .
