I'm still prospecting and the club I'm trying to earn my way into doesn't even let you bring your GF or Ol' Lady around while you're prospecting to big events or going to other club's events. Which I prefer because of just like you said. I'm always behind the bar or doing other duties.

That's exactly what the prospects were doing when I was invited to a club party last week
I was raised with really old school manners. I know that once that cut goes on or he's around his brothers or on the phone with his brothers, it's business and you don't interrupt business and you don't ease drop. I have a natural tendency to tune out anything I'm not supposed to be hearing. Also, being more on the introverted side helps in a situation where there's a large group. I'll just sit back and observe the surroundings. People say I'm shy but I like to play it safe in any situation. I am really quiet and stay to the background a lot of the time. I say please, thank you and won't pass or reach between people when they're having a conversation and if a conversation doesn't involve me, I walk away. If I need to talk to someone, I wait to be acknowledged before I speak. That's in any situation. It's the old fashioned manners that I was raised with that people don't have these days.

In my situation, I mind my own business. If he wants me to be there I let him ask me. I don’t talk about club business with him and when we are out in public I keep my mouth shut. It is a privilege to be able to be out with a club. Make friends with the other ol ladies and stay out of the way. It’s their club not yours. They make clubs for ladies
My Ol' Lady Loves going to functions with me. I am not in a club But I understand the lifestyle and respect it. I am going to a 1% party next month. She was excited to go. I explained to her why I will not be bringing her. And you hit it right on the head. "Your protection" I am going to just have a good time I will be going with my brothers but in a 1%er clubhouse things could go down. And I am not ready to throw down over any situation that could happen. It is respecting my Ol' Lady and the club at the same time. I’ve been thinking about your video dealing with brothers in your home when your not there. I absolutely get it. Always be cautious. Even if nothing goes on, it keeps the thought out of everyone’s minds. With that said……..there are a few men who I know I can trust, and who know they can trust me. Just because someone were in a club with me, that by itself doesn’t make him my brother. If I have to consider this conversation, he’s not my brother. There may be trusted associates, but brother is an entirely different level.

Solo seat and luggage rack. No 2 up riding for me. I told my old lady if she wants to ride it’s on her own bike. But honestly I keep my motorcycle life separate from my family life. Would be cool if she was involved but I know she’s got a lot on her plate being a mom to our kiddos

It's worse when your ol'man is a boss or officer because if you do not have it on and he is in meetings constantly, guys are coming around that do not know you, and someone else has to say something, it gets to be political quick. The property patches cut that shit to the quick.
As a motorcycle mechanic & rider (probably since long before you were born), I see this shit and have to ask myself "why would I want to become involved with something with all these rules..."The only answer I've come up with is it's a bunch of cowards who couldn't deal with a problem on their own without a gang of "bros' waiting to intervene. You want to be a fucking wife you better be able to hold down a prison term when they come for you just for being there. Because that's exactly what the Biker Enforcement Unit does to us, whether we show up at events or not. It's not about getting likes and follows on social media that's for fucking sure. Got invited to my first one percenter Xmas club party tonight in England. With My buddy. My thoughts? Very impressed. Organisation. Respect. Brotherhood and family. A patched member from another club was invited. All very respectful. I felt safer there than some bars I've been in. A lot of old ladies present. No one hitting on them. They looked pleased to be part of the whole club scene. We got our first beer free. A prospect welcomed us and bought us a beer later on that evening. Prospects were working the bar and cleaning up etc. One told me he loved his position as a prospect and didn't mind waiting 9 months to get fully patched. It was a great night. The bad press these clubs get is a disgrace. They look after their own and run their own biker lifestyle. But The system hates that. That's why they try and demonize them. I've been a lone wolf for a long time. But this has opened my eyes to thinking about maybe joining a club. I took your advice and listened and was careful about what questions I asked

Thing is, if I have a boyfriend I feel his friend hits on me, I tell my man. But if he's patched and that's his BROTHER it's a lot more serious, I feel less comfortable speaking up and bringing that issue to light. So I'd avoid putting myself in that position to begin with. That being said, if my man were patched and were hanging with his friends and he has to dip without me for some reason and I'm left alone with his brothers, I'm not gonna make it weird. Just stay a couple minutes, give my goodbyes and be on my way. There's no reason to stay and hang around with them alone, even if yall are cool. Plenty of opportunities to hang when your man is present.

A long time ago I had an 'ol lady talkin sweet nothins to me right in front of her 'ol man. I'm lookin at dude, like "the hell man?" He's just chucklin shakin his head. I only found out just recently that she belonged to another in the club and he volunteered to take a club beating to keep her. Funny how much of this culture has permeated my life without inserting myself into it really. Always been drawn to the machines and the pageantry, I followed the career of builders like Indian Larry he was/is my absolute favorite. Always wanted to meet him and I was crushed the day he crossed over, R.I.P. Larry.
Another thing I really like is how traditions in the culture don't give way to whichever way the wind blows like it has for what used to be American Traditions. The biggest casualty to that, yet one that I will never relinquish is the Idea of American Exceptionalism. Something I see emulated in the MC culture, same thing I see in you Sose. All this culture war ish going on and people out here letting it fall by the wayside and others not even knowing what it is. Mentioning it they think it's some kind of racism, stupid! Only thing membership requires is being an American with the desire to be the best version of ourselves posible.

The only fun we had was training when we could actually have fun playing with all the tools we were supposed to understand how to use. Come one even the best day ever you never got a false extraction from a Chinook helicopter semi in the water and drive your landing boat full throttle inside the belly than get lift off. Never did that in combat just training but that’s a rush you will never get. Trust me we have a better reputation than you and have had WAY more fun….and more women. Our Kepi is a chick magnet
