I would have been really interested to hear their perspectives on protecting their kids’ privacy. Hearing people like Jess and Gabe and Milena Ciciotti share why they don’t show their kids’ faces in their videos it makes so much sense to me- young kids and babies don’t have a say in whether or not they’re in a video.
I think they touched on this when referring to “family vlogging”, Coles response was that the good definitely outweighs the bad, and YES there absolutely is abuse in the Hollywood/child acting world but it doesn’t HAVE to be that way, and their goal is to be that change.
@@AbbyMcGuire23 I’m not sure I understand what you’re saying. Sure, there’s abuse in the child acting world, but they’re not actors and thats not what I was getting at. I just find it a little strange that they’re essentially using their children for content.

@@taraleasure Sorry, I could clarify, I meant that in terms of “using their kids for content”, they have stated they have individual accounts for each of their children that they put money into, and that their children are basically set for life. They will be able to go and do whatever they want in the world(like Everleigh being a dance teacher regardless of the pay) because her parents have set her up for life, and not have to worry about working a crappy job just to make ends meet - Whereas in Hollywood there are very few laws protecting children’s earned money etc so of course some parents abuse that, and then the child ends up having nothing or very little when they become an adult.
@@klow4491 I meant change that in terms of how they do it with their children. Again- I don’t have the answers to everything haha just stating what they said. Like how they have millions set aside for each child to be set for life. (Very different from Hollywood where many times when the child becomes an adult they’re left with nothing).

It kinda makes me bummed when I hear influencers say they’re not reading any of their comments because without their fan base watching and interacting they’d not have a platform at all. I do understand how upsetting negative comments can be but so many of us love and support you guys and we like to interact with you guys. The trolls ruin that for us when they make our favorite creators no longer look at their comments to like or respond to them at all.

I agree with you but with Cole and Sav they are constantly getting hate for no reason whatsoever. Mostly because they want to have a baby and people feel they don’t love their kids. And I wouldn’t read then either if I’m constantly getting hate. But I feel they do read them just don’t respond good or bad.
The amount of comments, it’s not possible to read every single one that a ridiculous expectation to put on them.
@@jessicafieldings7684 I don’t expect them to get to every single comment. I said in general to never glance at them at all kinda stinks. You can see when it says “liked by creator” or a couple comment replies even saying “hi” and that is great enough it’s the effort and it shows they care about their followers. Obviously to get to all of them is unrealistic.
@@niya7077 that’s why I said it stinks trolls ruin that for us who do support. Because Sav said they don’t look at their comments. She didn’t say they glance at some she said they normally do not look at them at all.

I'm on hospice and help us so hard to get here in Ms for people like me. You are true blessing for those you help because even dying people like me can't get help so I'm sure these people feel truly blessed by any help. So glad y'all did pod cast together two of my favorite families for sure.

Just so ya'll know, I just had a baby on Sunday, and the way I got through contractions was by listening to your podcast! Ya'll got me from 1 to 7 cm before I left for the hospital. So thanks for the pre-birth entertainment 😂 Ya'll are the best!

My two favorite family/couple channels! I’m 17 but have kind of grown up watching Cole and Savannah. I love their family and really look up to them and the way they’re family dynamic is. I just recently got into watching you guys, and your story and found it very entertaining and inspiring as well! You 4 are a great reminder that pure, real, genuine, love exists. Also it’s always great to watch people who’ve lived longer than you have, and learn from their experiences while also having a laugh. Always a great time! This made me so happy to see, I stopped whatever I was doing and watched it when I saw.
I think theres definitly a broader conversation and concern to be had regarding family vlogging or more so child focused vlogging. Children cannot give consent and with the amount of creeps out there id never be comfortable with it.
You not being comfortable with it shouldn’t let you think you’re any better than the person actually doing it. Predators will always be there regardless of internet or not. I look at it as if people shouldn’t or don’t need to stop living their lives just because there’s a predator looking
I have to say I’ve watched every episode and look forward to each one but this one made me hesitant. I used to watch Cole and Sav for a long time but fell out of it. I originally wasn’t going to watch this episode but figured yknow what I love Matt and Abby let me just try it and I am SO glad that I did. I think not only was this just a great podcast but one of the most genuine relaxed times I’ve seen Cole and Sav. I loved every minute of this and again just think these podcasts specifically ones with other creators are so great and helpful to see this side of them as people vs. content creators.
I’m from california and I couldn’t agree more! People can be super nice here, if it benefits them or gets them somewhere quicker. My family lives in Texas and every time I go visit I am SHOCKED at how nice everyone is. Every single place you go people will spark up conversation, even if it’s just a quick “Hows it going”. In California you get the weird half smile and not a single word is exchanged
Tbh I've been doing long distance for a year and 2 months and I absolutely love seeing him and making memories and when I have to leave I feel like crying and i miss him so much, hate not waking up next to him 😭❤

I appreciate you guys so much as a couple and parents you have no idea. I’m a single mom of 5 and let me tell you. It is so hard to work, put food on the table, rent, car insurance, dental, medical, electricity, water…clothes!! The amount of worry I hold as a person is oftentimes unbearable. But all you can do is keep on going and trying to do better and be better. Love your channel so much

@@sydneybrooks9109 they are. i saw a few comments that were negative when they first posted and like an hour later when i came back to look at a reply, they were all gone and the only comments liked were about loving the labrant family
I actually completely agree with deleting negative comments. No need to give publicity to hate.
Our culture seems to think it’s ok to say horrible things to people online (things you would very likely not say to their face).
I hope we continue to get kinder. There is room for different opinions, but no need for how they are often communicated online. It can also be a private and respectful communication.

The dishonesty is what really gets me. When they "pranked" Everlee with purple paint.... Everylee was in the mirror watching them fill the bottle. And it's a purple shampoo...it's supposed to be purple so she wouldn't have freaked out. She would have just assumed it was shampoo. Also... who let's thier child use purple shampoo. It's bad for hair. And they put the paint in her. It was too obvious. So why don't they apologize for that mess. That was a lie. Christians don't do that.
I'm not even a fan of the Labrants, but i feel like its necessary to say that Christians do lie because everyone sins and no one is perfect. Also the purple paint video I'm sure was scripted and just something fun they or Everleigh wanted to film for entertainment or because it would be fun; they definitely knew you can see Everleigh in the mirror but left it to push the point that the video was a joke. You wouldn't say a TV show was "dishonest" because it was scripted. Just like a scripted video would not be "dishonest", it is meant for entertainment and not to be taken seriously!
@RachelForce eh...nah this is a bit different. They were called out for it and panicked so they wanted you to assume it was real. And lying for money isn't the same as a little white lie. They do it for the lust of money. Lying and lusting. But that's most youtubers.
I love all of your podcasts. Plus, keep them coming. But, I seen somewhere you were doing one with them. But, I have been waiting on this one. They are one of my long top vloggers I have watched since they got together and Everleigh was little. Them getting married and Ev dancing on the vlogs. I absolutely love the one she is doing by herself on the patio playing with playdough. Now the one with her and Cole is great. I think eventually Posie will do the same thing. My sister and brother-in-law waited for marriage... they met when she was 12 and he was 15! They started liking each other at about 14 and 17, and dating at 16 and 19. They were long distance for the next almost 4 years, and the last 2 years it was only weekly letters! They have been married for almost 20 years 😊 And ya know what makes it even more crazy? My parents have the exact. same. story. Same ages, time away, long distance, etc. Just in a different decade! And what is really wild? My grandparents were also very similar! And all are still married and so happy- but I've never seen a happier couple than my sister and brother-in-law ❤
Me and a guy like eachother I’m 14 he’s 16 and I’ve been so insecure about my age bc of the difference. His birthday is a month before mine so he will turn 17 and then I will turn 15. I haven’t found anyone who could relate so this honestly helped me thinking about the age gap.

I have to say, 30 years ago, newly married, we moved from CA to AZ for a job. We lasted 1 year in AZ. Could.not.vibe with the heat! Lasted 1 year. Moved to SLC, UT. Lived there 17 years (LOVED), moved back to CA for 11, now, moving to Louisville KY for work, in 2 mos. Louisville has a big SLC vibe, which we loved.

18:57 awww! Me and my boyfriend of almost 3 years are now long distance. He is in the military and we average 3 month gaps between seeing each other. We are halfway across the country from each other haha. It definitely is hard but absolutely makes the heart grow fonder and makes some things so much more special!

I just finished watching and it’s so cool for me to see this collab because I remember watching the Cole and Sav channel when they first started and still watch their videos today and now I watch you guys and probably wouldn’t have gotten into the couple and family videos if it hadn’t been for Cole and Savannah. It’s really nice to see such wholesome content from both families and I love seeing families willing to share their faith in Christ as well. I WILL say the Labrant Family seems the same as they are on CZcams as they are in person. I’ve never met them or spoke to them but I have ran into them somewhere recently and I didn’t say hi to just be respectful and give them space while out with their family and they seemed the same personality wise. They seem such sweet genuine people and their kids ugh their precious and so adorable. They talk and act the same as they do on their vlogs! Their real and I love that!

I always love all the podcasts but this one is special for me. I feel like I can relate a lot to the Labrants since my relationship moved extremely quickly as well. We went on a date and he moved in like 3 weeks later and 3 weeks after that I found out I was pregnant. We got engaged soon after then when our baby was 8 months old we got married. But I agree with their philosophy of if you know then why wait. But maybe recommended waiting to have the kid until after the marriage 😂

I don’t know if the timelines match up but I remember watching the Butler families on CZcams 10 years ago and they were who I would have considered pioneers of the family platform on CZcams. I know some have had their downfalls but like the Shaytards and HeyKayli all channels that have done the family thing for song long. Love Cole and Sav and again the timelines may be off but there are other families out there too!
