A1C of 6.2 is very high.
This is the last time I'm getting a Medtronic pump
I feel so very Blessed and excited to be able to receive this insulin pump. I am really wanting to have a healthier A1C and I do not want my Diabetes to progress into complications. I have had it since I was 14 and am 39 now.

I'm 40 and have been type 1 for 25 years, im just about to move from insulin pens to the 780g. Just hope this technology hasn't come to late for me.
Chin up buttercup. Any pump will be a better result than MDI with short and long acting insulins.
Replying 6 months later. I was in your posistion. Hopefully it worked out for you. It's never to late enjoy a better quality of life.
I’ve just getting mine and I’m looking forward to making the changes. It sounds brilliant can’t wait😊
We're excited for you, Kenneth! 🙌
How has it been for you? I'm looking to upgrade my 640G to 780 . Please let me know
Let me know when Medicare approves 780G
Why when it sucks?
I've grown frustrated with Medtronic's Sensor 3 system with the 630g - albeit it's better than it was 10 years ago. I've considered switching to Tandem/Dexcom, but honestly had had more issues already with just trying out the Dexcom than I have with the Sensor 3. For all the pains I've gone through with Medtronic, they still have a foot in the door.
The warranty on my 670g expires in August. Will I be eligible then to upgrade to 780g?
Most likely, but specifics will be determined by your health plan coverage. We encourage you to give us a call once your warranty has expired to discuss your options.
Does It covered by medicand it's so what is the deductible? Thanks
Hi, Barbara. Yes, the MiniMed™ 780G system should be covered by Medicaid and Managed Medicaid plans that currently cover MiniMed™ 770G with Guardian™ Sensor 3. Specific coverage and timing may vary for each state. Contact your insurance provider to verify current coverage.
Does it work with Apple Watch?
Yes, the 780G system can connect to compatible Apple Watch devices. You can check compatibility here: bit.ly/36PXbtF

How much price

Do u still have to do finger prick if so how many times a day
Mark, the Guardian 4 sensor does not typically require fingersticks to make treatment decisions when using SmartGuarg technology. It is still recommended to take a blood glucose reading if symptoms do not match sensor glucose readings. Additionally, when in manual mode, a blood glucose reading is required when using the bolus wizard.
Of course you do. If you believe you can depend of this type of technology you need some training.
When will upgrades begin?
We'll begin taking preorders on May 15th!
Can you swim with this
Hi, Barbara. At the time of manufacture and when the reservoir and tubing are properly inserted, your pump is waterproof. It is protected against the effects of being underwater to a depth of up to 12 feet (3.6 meters) for up to 24 hours.
