I think the Pepsi is safe for a few years. If anything, they’ll discontinue the Meteorite dial first like the Daytona’s this year.
Genta designed the Defy before the AP. So the octagonal design precedes the Royal Oak. Just want to make sure this is clear here :)
I hate everything Travis. Also not sure how something in the watch market will do for him and I hope it fails but it wont. I also think the only saving grace is the limit to 200.

My white gold pepsi after 2 years of wear has a purple hue to the blue part of the bezel. I love the look. Also don’t see a high demand for the white gold pepsi so they might just dc the white gold version

Rolex has decided they don't want a two piece construction and it needs to be the same color all the way through. All the simple options are in their opinion not satisfactory so the problem is self imposed.
I don't know about Formex or Monta and how exactly they do it but if you turn around cheaper ceramic bezels for Seikos etc. you will see that even the bicolor ones are the same color at the back. Rolex doesn't want that... they rather have the blue look purple

AP and the Travis Scott colab is great marketing on AP's part. They will probably sell out the run of that watch.
Vacheron just shows once again why they are in the "holy trinity" of watchmaking, those watches are gorgeous.
The Zenith is a great looking watch, I agree with Marco in that Zenith needs to replace the 1/10th seconds for a 60 second counter and the watch would be as perfect a watch that Zenith could make.
I definitely have a Max Büsser obsession, he is a very humble genius, I love everything that MB&F builds.

Marco, geeky question for you. Rolex is having problems getting the Pepsi ceramic bezel produced in quantity due to the red color. Rumor has it that only 10% of the bezels are put on the watch. If Rolex went back to an aluminum bezel, how scratch resistant is an aluminum bezel? Is there another more scratch resistant bezel that could be used, and what metal would Rolex use for the bezel?

Well my AD has closed the list for the Pepsi, they’ve said they’re not seeing enough of them and they “fully expect them to be discontinued come watches and wonders next year”. Now that’s from an AD and not a boutique but it speaks volumes to me.

Comparing demand for Travis Scott $400 sneakers b/c it is Travis Scott does not translate to a watch for $400k. It will sell for sub $300k, and that is only b/c there is a sucker born every day/people who have more $ than sense. The sneakers are cool but/c of the reverse swoosh (but not the golf shoes which look stupid). BTW, When Roman says “buy what you like,” he is both disassociating himself from being held responsible for selling a depreciating asset, and ensuring that the buyer is responsible for his buying decisions. He is not an investment advisor; he is a watch salesman.
