They have allowed some quite clear kicks in the NHL . I guess they will only disallow if it is non-moving puck and you sweep it to the net with your foot.

Given the call by the refs in the Vegas vs Kraken game the other night - the kick-in goal in this game probably would have been ruled a good goal. There was no distinct kicking motion. He angled his skate in the same way Stephenson angled his - just with the inside of the foot instead of the outside

To be fair, I wouldn't have argued against it being a redirect, but that said, it really looked like the guy reacted as if he knew it was a no goal. Maybe one that could've gone either way.

I started a few years ago. Look to see if your local rink has a "Never-Ever League". That'll get you going.

This may be one of the saddest things I have ever seen. Grown men that treat beer league like it's game 7 all the time. A "heated" rivalry, the fuck!? You guys take this shit too seriously. It's BL and not even decent BL hockey either, so "bender" is actually used correctly. If I had to guess, this would probably be the equivalent to C level (A-D) hockey. You even try to sell your own team merch. I will make sure to post the Tropics hockey hat and tell anybody if they see somebody wearing this hat, push them down a flight of fucking stairs.
