What a star...just gone through your fix to reset the windows and yes. I can now open and shut the passenger windows fro. The drivers switches. How rediculas that Toyota don't tell you this.

I recently disconnected my prius hybrid battery to clean the fan and when I reconnected everything I was able to only control my window only but after following your steps, it worked amazing in just 30 sec . Thank you 😊

This just happened to me today and I was scared shitless cause I live in a military installation and they usually have us roll down windows to check inside vehicles if you have tints. Just tried your method and BAM all other three windows now go up and down from the driver side controls 🎉🎉 Lifesaver!

Thanks for the video. After checking fuses and seeing none were blown, I was really starting to question. Then after unplugging my battery for 10 minutes they started working from the respective door, but not the drivers side. This fixed it.

You did a great service. Just bought a Sequoia used last week. Battery went dead Sunday while setting the radio pre-sets. Had the battery checked today and it was good and just needed a charge. On the charger for around 4 hours today. Went for a drive and discovered the problem. Used the key in the door and held it drivers window, passenger window and sunroof all opened as normal. Sunroof and drivers window worked but passenger window was stuck open on Halloween night. Car might have been vandalized if not for your procedure. Thanks!
Just commenting to confirm this works for my 2011 Avalon. Happened for the same reason - new battery. Super bizarre but so glad the fix couldn't be more simple.
Just so you know, it wasn't the procedure that you did. It was that window button that you showed at the beginning of the video. That button will only allow your driver's window to function if it's pressed down. Once you press it again, everything will return to normal. Thanks for the video though. Because of you I figured out that I had pressed that button LOL
Yes! That button is like checking 'if it's plugged in first'. If that does not fix it, then using the demoralized sequence to get the rest to work is the ticket.

I have a 1996 Corolla DX. My passenger window stopped working. It was in the open position. These procedures did not work. But disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery and reconnecting it did the trick.
Thank you so much. It worked. Did it a few times and got each one working. Mine fixed in the order of back right, back left, passenger side took 2 times redoing driver side.

Hi, turned out that somehow the lock windows switch had been activated. One press of that and hey presto, all 4 worked! Wholehearted thanks! 🥰
