The yellow lace curtains you can soak in oxy-clean and room temperature water overnight to remove the yellow. Rinse in cool water. You can repeat if it’s not white enough. Then just air dry. You could possibly dye it too unless you want them white.

To fix the yellowing on lace...grab a mop bucket with clean water... dissolve one or two denture whitening tablets in the warm water...soak curtains and then air dry ❤

Gel clings are an ageless deco item. It’s the majority of how we seasonally decorate. Also, sometimes they work as mosquito traps, which does mean you have to clean them, but means less mosquitos biting me!

Adding a new comment. You inspired me to declutter and makeover my bedroom. I didn’t go with a fall theme but I played up the sage green walls, added some new curtains and duvet that are natural looking florals and dark green. Our furniture is a hodgepodge of antique and modern wood. So, thank you for this video ❤

He is an idiot, and we love him. 😂 He really likes to play under the sheets and blankets, so he’s useless when I’m trying to make the bed. The book dress is from Joanie clothing! I believe they have it in longsleeve right now.

You are in Washington State, I have gathered - am I right? So, Yea- I grew up until age 13 in England, then Connecticut, then Seattle and Olympia THEN COLORADO!!
After moving to Colrado, I realized that I'd always lived in fairly wet n rainy places where the weather tends to come in fronts which can stay for days, overcast and rainy, whereas in the West, weather generally rolls through, does it's dramatic thing and leaves within hours, sometimes minute, not days.
The transition into Colorado's constant sunshine ran up against my ingrained expectation that weatger sticks around awhile, and was caught out many times, with the tea hot and me cozy tucked into bed or by the fire.THEN THE DAMNED SUN would break through!!!
I must say, I got used to the difference VERY QUICKLY!! Now I LOVE HOT AND DRY, so i'm very happy in the New Mexico desert. I've been here since '97, but have left a few times to see if the grass was greener somewhere else.
One time I went back up to WA State, looking for a more mentally rigorous environment. And it was a disaster!! It was so squishy and wet...I hated it!!
So desert is home now. I believe I will never leave this very same house - hopefully. If my landlady doesn't finally find a way to make things beyond acceptable. She tries, kinda, sometimes..😢 ANYWAY!!
Now I drink hot tea in bed whenever I feel like it. Whatever to the weather, Girl!!!

Yay, currently finishing up some Halloween decorating around my home and loving this fall video! I wanted to mention as I know you have cats, watch where you put those window clings. My one cat loves to try and eat them along with tape and stickers. One of our previous cats did also. I read it had something to do with the adhesive on them. Not sure why they like those window clings. I put clings on my sons window where the cats can't get to them. Also, I am loving seeing the kiddos in the videos!
Adorable kitties made the video! I can't have any plants as that same cat eats them all and is still somehow alive. Sick cat and emergency vet visits are no fun!
I only put them on the mirror, the cats aren’t allowed in my room without supervision because they knock everything I’ve 🙃😂 gotta love ‘em.

The pumpkin aesthetic isn't my thing but I do get the desire to have a pleasant home.
I would love to do up my place but, my dogs are still young, full of life and rather destructive so I'm sticking with the tattered and torn sofas for the moment.
Living with destructive animals is hard!
