- This weekend at The Farmhouse did not have a lot happening at the actual farmhouse except some new reclaimed Brazilian Teak Wood for future projects and trimming trees ad removing the basketball hoop. This WAS my Daughter Emily and now Son in law Jason's Wedding. Awesome weekend.

Thanks Joe, for sharing your life with eveyone. I love watching you do all these wonderful things there at the farmhouse. Also the other places you have as well. Congrats on your daughters wedding. I have heard many times the term" in your case, " That you didn't loose a daughter, you gained a son-in- law. They make a beautiful couple and I know you are a very proud father. Hope Melissa feels better soon. Also your grandson Xander and little grandaughter. I love your dog, he seems to enjoy hanging around with you . ☺ Have a blessed day and I look forward to seeing you put together your new grill. ☺😇 That was a delicious looking lunch. I appreciate you sharing videos with us especially of the farm, I remember myself running across fields, my pigtails flying behind me looking for the next adventure like jumping from the hayloft into a pile of sweet smelling hay, climbing the cherry tree or a drink of ice cold water from the outdoor pump. Just walking around the place now is so different. In a good way.
But you going back to the hobby farm and seeing the garden makes me at least a little sad. I mean over the years it’s not our house we have never been there but we watch and get to know the place so now its gone it’s like losing an old friend. Lol
If and when you tear down the tent to make the cabin I do not want to see that one...

Another very nice video. I had such a stressful day, and literally at the edge of sanity dealing with Amazon, and a 3rd party return of something I ordered. I have to do everything on my own, and when I look and you and just how happy you are with that gorgeous smile and the peace you project, though I it was a road getting there, you are certainly there. Eventually, I will be able to smile like that. You looked so gorgeous and so happy at the wedding. You've got everything, now; you are highly favored and blessed. You are definitely a keeper all the way around, with Melissa, with us, and of course, with your lovely children, and grandchildren. Even the dog loves you. He follows you around all over. Thanks for letting us in on this.
You have the advantage of getting all that reclaimed wood at work. I wish my husband had that. We have to buy all the wood for his projects.

An awesome weekend with some of the greatest souvenirs that anyone could collect !! Everyone looked so sharp at the wedding and your family continues to grow, and Melissa even not feeling well cares so much about you that she gets you a kick ass birthday present....you may want to move your own wedding date up a bit !! Melissa runs the whole building by herself. There was simply NO ONE else that could fill in. They have a couch that opens into a bed in her office in case of a bad winter storm she would have a place to stay instead of driving home. For her this was a no other option situation. Calm down Sandra. Lol.
Ok Joe, I’m calm now! However, if Melissa ended up in the hospital with pneumonia or some other complications from being ill, someone else would have to run the ENTIRE BUILDING! I’m sure she doesn’t go to work ill because it’s so darn much fun for her! I’m glad she is feeling better and know that you both enjoyed the wedding! So, that’s all I’ve got to say about that! Just like Forrest Gump!
If she does not go in to work, the place does not open. I did not say the entire building to make her sound like shes some queen above all queens, I said it because she is the only one there. There is no one else unless they fly them in from another state.

A home we used to own was shingled in cypress over 100 yrs ago and the shingles are still in great shape. Sand some of that wood down and you will have some beautiful shelves. I bet even your dad could make something out of that wood. Congratulations to all on the wedding. : ) peace Oh and feel better Melissa.

Yes, a weed eater is a necessity and the results are amazing, especially knocking down all the tall weeds around the buildings and trimming up the tree bottoms. Everything looks so beautiful. But after all the yard work and mowing, the first freeze seems to be a blessing! :) One would never recognize the place from the time you bought it. Don't know how you manage to maintain 4 properties such huge distances away from each other and still work a full-time job!
