    No doubt, this will enable the insurance companies to roll back the 50% increase I've seen in my premiums over the past 2 years, right? No, I didn't think so.

    It should be mandatory that only those with a minimum of competence and intelligence get a license, so they wouldn't need these ridiculous technologies.

    I did not ask the government to keep me "safe". Nor will I ever.

      If they mandated a nationwide 5 mph speed limit everybody would be safe!

    Get it to work right first. I have two vehicles with it and neither works right. For example, the Subaru slams on the brakes sometimes when I try to drive through the garage doorway.

    Oh great, another reason to make already overpriced vehicles even more expensive. 🤡

    This is why regular people can no longer afford cars. The nanny state is adding so many expensive safety features that drive up car prices by thousands.

    AEB systems cause phantom braking which could lead to more rear-end accidents and loss of control on wet and icy roadways. I have filed reports with the NHTSA.

    How very caring of the US government to mandate auto breaking for all new cars within 10 years. That's so safe and caring.

    Despite the many crashes these auto-braking systems will prevent, which will save insurance companies millions of dollars, I'll bet you that the insurance rates wont go down A SINGLE PENNY!

      Go re-read the article. You got it wrong. It's an auto emergency breaking system, not the auto-breaking system. Are you a republicant?

    Faulty. This technology consists of highly expensive sensors. This technology will falsely sense something on straight ice during the winter and slam the brake for you 😂.

    • @LobstersLobsters
      @LobstersLobsters Před měsícem +1

      It is sooo expensive and faulty that its common tech for most new cars already. 😂

      @LobstersLobsters elon musk tesla trucks and cars just recently had recalls. The technology behind these self driving automobiles and these new mandated automatic braking system is just sensors motion sensors which is expensive and as well faulty. Electrical and computer will always have fault.
