Been spamming Tinker long ago, but now I don't have any time to play Dota anymore, sad... Only want to say for who learning Tinker - before you play tinker, make sure to set the hotkeys and practice the combo with that hotkeys in demo. - make the most active item to easy looping pressable (make your finger comfort while fighting) - learn fog of war to secure your hero (you will be so hard to be catched by enemy) - learn quickcast - don't ignore stop button - disable auto attack - don't be greedy in building an item, Tinker can be a war support / deadly killer I use normal hotkey with a little bit modification if you wanna try QWER for skill S as stop button Z as teleport X as inactive item / not much usable C as dagger V as soul ring D most active item F most active item
This was a pretty good guide, I do have to add that the direction in which you cast march of the machines is super important. The machines always come from tinkers back to his front wherever/however you cast the spell. This is especially useful when you are looking to focus the machines in an area. An example of this would be if you are in mid lane, cast the spell facing away from your target so the machines can immediately start hitting your target!
Little trick for creep sporting. You can always see the location of the creeps in your own opposite lane. In the beginning it helped me before I got the feeling for it.
I had Tinker in my cavern crawl and was worried since i've never played Tinker in an actual game (i've played since the Dota 1 days). Watched this guide to prepare and won! My play was far from perfect, but I won my lane against Leshrac and only died in team fights. Thanks for the guide!
Thanks for the fresh guide, I started to play him and I found your guide which is exactly what I was searching so thanks! You gained another subscriber ☁️
@@Docwell May I ask a question? I see all the popular guides being about tinker mid, is it feasible to play him pos 4? In unranked drafts are unpredictable.
Why use bottle before soul ring instead of in opposite order? I feel like the opposite order would maximize the health regen you get from the bottle if you are full hp.
Question, if you have travel boots, bottle and soul, do you help your allies if they're fighting, like small fights to help wipe them out to get blink faster?
@@Docwell hey man this is the game ID 6026973053 i was horrible , i tried to keep things in mind as discussed in the video but damn.. too difficult haha .. let me know if we can have a discussion on discord about the game. thanks man, appreciate the effort! ps: i posted this comment here and in the discussion section cause i was not sure what would send you a notification :P
@@Docwell hello, im so sorry, i just saw this reply. I got a rampage with tinker bout 3 weeks ago but im still feel like im bad at using him. I can't get my items fast. It takes about 17+ minutes for me to get soul ring, boots of travel and blink dagger which i feel is too long because the enemy is already strong by then.

Very useful guide! I am veteran at this hero but I guarantee new players will learn a lot from this... Great work!

Another good way to know where the creeps are is to just look at your own, if your creeps are near tier 2 then enemy creeps are near tier 2 too.
