Bad ass pilots yes but for every bad ass pilot in Vietnam there was an equally bad ass crew chief and door gunner that was on that helicopter

12 LZs of that 8 were chopper drops, 4th div infantry. At 76 it still remaining with me every day.

Thanks for your kind words. I’m just an amateur video editor using my I Phone. I can’t remember where I got the audio. I read Guts an Gunships a while back and I just researched the author.

We learned to stay calm. Not easy to learn but beat crashing or having a mad air with another huey. I was a Wo-1 with the 118AHC 68-69.
