He really miffed me in this episode as I would never tag Shinichi OR Satoshi as someone that would judge on cost as opposed to actual value, taste or usefulness. They’re both really lovely and down to earth, Lawrence, in these episodes, comes across really poorly. 😔😔

I love that takoyaki place. One of my favorite Tokyo memories is standing under the awning of that place on a rainy night, watching the headlights of the cars shining through the falling rain as they drove by. And I like my takoyaki crispy, too.
But my favorite street food is Akihabara is the katsu sando that they sell from the stand out in front of Niku-no-Mansei. And also in their convenience store.
Going back in December and I will definitely check out that sweets shop.

First question: Are we going to see a photo of Justin in his new hat?! This was so fun! It was great to see Shinichi, Vinn, and Laurence enjoying Akihabara! The dessert gyoza looked really interesting. We used to make something like that, only we filled it with coconut, peanuts, and a little sugar. I think maybe we used brown sugar. We deep-fried them. Very non-traditional, but they were very tasty! Don't worry, we also made traditional dumplings. We had a friend from China who taught us how to do them properly. Thanks for the great video!

At the beginning I didn't like so much Lawrence but then I realized he is a happy and energetic guy. He brought informality to the video. He made me feel connected to a food street show among friends. Great video!!! Just missing Satochi.
in australia we have a doughnut shop called doughnut time and they have amazing flavours. my favourite is a creme brulee one that has a vanilla custard filling and the top is drizzled with the burnt toffee/sugar syrup which gives it a nice snap.

i ate that same takoyaki, so crispy!! the egg was nice! and i agree it didn't really taste like typical takoyaki.

As a southern American, I want that fried chicken. Also I've never had takoyaki and I've heard its amazing along with onomonoyaki (sp?). I hope I can go to japan one day to try it out. Also I've heard from my Asian friends that Korea makes the best fried chicken...

Please can you do the cakes you said you were going to eat in your video where you bought the doughnuts from. That BBQ doughnut looked awesome it looked like a kebab stick. The kobe beef and the other beef stick looked yummy but tongue one maybe not my taste. Food always tastes better when someone else cooks it for you and no dishes lol. Happy eating guys.

Very fun adventure … you guys always seem to have such a good time! When I was young, my best friend's Mom (who was from Tokyo) served tongue but didn't tell me what it was until we were done eating. It really was delicious, but I could never make it myself because it freaks me out to see the whole tongue lying in the meat case 🤣😛🤐
Yes! please do the desserts video. It would be cool if you tried all the fake savory desserts, like the ramen, etc at Sweets Paradise.
I'm surprised you guys didn't try the コイキング焼き at Kurikoan! It's much more fluffy and pancake-y textured than a traditional taiyaki. Next time you guys are in Akihabara, I recommend trying it! Living all the way out in the Asaka/Asakadai area makes it a pretty rare treat for me, so I hope you enjoy it! :D
