- This video is so messy so I might end up deleting it later on.. But her character is so complex. And I can't seem to bring myself to hate her. I know shes the bad guy of the show but there's part of me that wishes that she, as well as all the other characters, has a happy ending.

I wanted to hate her, but I can't. She's such a complex character, and I do think at one point she really loved Jojo and can learn from her mistakes. Hope they give her the character arc she deserves

Gul-mi is actually one of the characters I can relate to. Since even though her goals are too fantasiable, she still trys hard and just wants to be comfortable at the same time. Her character is really complex and I hope she gets the character curve at season 2.

I do think she tried to love JoJo and tried to be less complex, but she had no luck and her character wasn't helping the situation and she realized that, but she didn't know how to fix it, her aspect is awesome, but her character ruins it.

I'm probably the only person that barely hates her, at the beginning I hated her, but I like mean characters, she's relatable imo, she's just kind of spoiled but Gul-mi has feelings like everyone else
I can’t believe the amount of people who actually like her character. She literally bullies her cousin for no reason. She blames jojo for jojo’s parents death when it wasn’t even her fault. She thinks she can have Sun-oh when Sun-Oh doesn’t even love her. I don’t care how much of her life has changed since Jojo came in, as a cousin I would comfort Jojo instead because I couldn’t imagine my life without my parents. Jojo works her ass off for her things and Gulmi wants to act like she mooches off of them when she’s trying to pay back her moms debt. They need to do a lot next season to get me to like her.

I hated her character but I do understand how hard it is to have a goal and try to achieve it. It can be really aggravating to not reach that goal especially when you have been trying so hard to get there. At the same time, I hate how she treated Jojo and blamed her for things she can not control. She could not control what happened to her parents. She could not control how Sun-oh felt about her. Like Gul-mi it is not Jojo's fault Sun-oh loves her and not you. At this point, she was trying to push her own harshness on Jojo and everyone else. I really hope she has character growth in Season 2. She can redeem herself if she tried.

I think she was a bit harsh to that guy that liked her, and I guarantee if she gave him the time of day she'd probably have been married and pretty happy instead of miserable like she ended up.
Also, she was right about Jojo. I hate Jojo and I can spot a flaky, fake manipulator from a mile away. I'd rather deal with her than Jojo any day because at least she's honest about it, unlike Jojo who will be indecisive and smile in your face then stab you in the back when no one is looking.
