This was one of the best experiences I've ever had making a film. Alex and Brad are top notch people and very skilled in their art. Not only am I proud to have worked with them on a few projects, but they are great friends as well. Great job to all involved!

This was a fun short. Vikings vs Space Orks.
Fun fact! Vikings didn’t have horned helmets… learned this on a trip to Iceland, the Catholic Church portrayed them in such a way so they could be compared to the devil.😉
The horns were used for drinking. Doesn't sound good to carry your drinking glass around on your head, does it ?

The only horns they use were the drink horns,in complete.Maybe a drinking horn lays beneath a helmet and the Catholic Church said here is the evidence the horn beneath a helmet and the horn was fallen off back in the fight and one meter away was another horn and then they got their two horns and began to start spreading rumors around,that some people still believe in nowadays.
It’s all in the merchandising.

I wish to complement you on both concept and execution. The direction, and ability of the actors to suspend disbelief, kept the film moving fast and furious. The acting was what really finished selling the classic story line, with its nods to films such as Predator. The use of the natural setting worked well, and the design of the visitor and its costume was striking. "This is my realm!" What a berserker with true Viking spirit! Come though they may, as the ending shows, they would not meet a cowed populace. It was just a bad day to be an alien soldier, facing a badly misjudged, less technological, but perfectly capable foe.

This was a rare moment when I didn't regret spending 20 minutes of my time watching a short film. Great story all-encompassing from beginning to end.

Here you can clearly see the work of the masters. The action sequences, story, cinematography and visuals are even better than most big budget movies. I liked it very much. I would love to see a 3 hour movie if these guys made it.😃

Really excellent! Very high production values, with first class acting, specials effects, fight sequences and choreography. Entirely agree with other commentators praising what is one of the best Dust short stories I've seen.

Vikings meet Predator in the 7th C. Wonderful filming. Plot, dialogue, and special effects" " STUPID,STUPID,STUPID" . An incredible waste of talent with a surplus of blood and grunting.
Is a part 2 to this coming out? Would love to see the alien invasion in action.
This is outstanding and surprised me MANY times... been watching sci-fi and fantasy flicks since I was a kid in the 70s and this STANDS OUT.

That was impressive for a short film. Wouldn’t you love to see this in the cinema. Favorite thing was that the alien armor was clearly well advanced but still had very plausible exploitable weak points. It was all just awesome.

I'll be a hundred percent honest, I have never found a Dust video I didn't like... until now. Every possible detail about the Norse at that time period that could be gotten wrong, was gotten wrong. At no point in this short, did it ever make sense! I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Well done! You have created an enduring tale and it was accomplished in one third the time of a regular film. This was a great short film..I even watched it 3 times and then started researching the origins of the Orks to see if this will be the new direction for the Lord Of The Ring Movies.

It was well researched and written thoughtfully, albeit more violent than what usually attracts my interest. For the material scripted the acting was good. We don't know what caused the first battle and on incentive to be for a wining side in that part so then the starting action is much violence with no engagement of passions by the viewers to that starting warfare. You'd have to be fascinated with that kind of hand to hand combat to like this at the start, but with the plot beginning to move in the second scene it makes progress nicely. Every Writer has their own preferred approach, so I won't need comment there. The Directing was very good. I think that is what makes it work, is very good Directing. Tusen tok, kol a' mein! Godt film!

Incredibly well done, among the best productions ever presented by DUST. A lot of talent and production skill went into this. Of course, one has to wonder what came next, as more of the ETs were coming in . . . this could definitely be expanded upon to create a feature film.
