    Great edit! 🤩

    It was me with Piotr that have crashed at 59:26, and we both finished on podium of this stage 😅. We were pretty lucky to have no serious injuries. Justinas have ridden away while we were catching back, otherwise we probably wouldn't let him, but regardless he did really strong effort and we completely lost sight of him 👍. Unfortunately my cam didnt catch it, as it was overheating and shutting down this day

      I would say you been really lucky to come out of that situation without any consequences! Piotr went down softer :D Not to mention you both bouncing back up front!
      Biekša pushed hard, maybe even bit too hard for the first stage in such conditions! What happened to your camera, which settings are you using?

      @@tom10crafted I had to remove the battery and ride with powerbank only, to not overheat it. I never had this issue in previous years, probably as battery degraded it started to heat up more while charging

    • @tom10crafted
      @tom10crafted  Před měsícem

      That is interesting! Can you elaborate how your camera runs without the battery with powerbank? I tried that in the past, but it thrown me an error of not enough power. Even though, powerbank is 2A output which should be fair enough. Maybe he cable?
      Not sure which camera you are using, but based on squared ratio, I assume its GoPro 8:7 resolution, in 4k+. That might be the culprit of overheating!

      @@tom10crafted Its gopro 9 and yeah I tried to record in 4k square, which I usually didnt do earlier. One stage I went back to 1920/1440 but it was still struggling to charge and record at same time. Powerbank is huawei cp07 and its also 2A. I havent had any errors, but I had to make sure that cable won't disconnect in any position on both usb ends. Original gopro cable was disconnecting while slightly pushed to side on powerbank end, but I tried another one and it was charging well, no matter how I tried to "move" it inside

      @tom10crafted  Před měsícem +1

      @@mihalgero102 to reduce chances of cable disconnection, I always support both ends with duck tape - cause you never know when something unexpected might happen. From crash to some unusual movement, which can pull the cable off! :)
      Worst thing is when you hear the beeping sound of camera shut down and trying put the cable back somewhere in the woods, haha - been there, done that! :D

    Was that normal that Bieska had heart elasticity , like 143 to 187, and yours was 169 to 173 ? I don't know if it is something workable but it was very apparent.
    Bieska hitting the sign was hilarious. I don't know how he managed it. :)

      There might be many reasons for HR range variability, but few obvious for me:
      1. He is 20yo
      2. He is well trained / significantly better fitness and FTP than me (~100w)
      3. Last but not least, I felt terrible based on the feeling on Stage 1.
      In regards him hitting the sign on the log - haha, he went too wide, thought to jump it, but realise that idea can backfire :D

      @@tom10crafted I hope you get a better ride on your other stages. At least physically.
      I love the split screens by the way, it's interesting.

      Thanks man! This stage race was a rollercoaster, but with quite positive ending.
      In regards to split screen usage - thanks for sharing! Which one is better - side by side or top to bottom? I feel like top to bottom could be better, but then some blank screen would be visible. Also, is it not confusing which rider is where? Some say it is not intuitive, for me it is hard to tell as I am biased:))

      @Dubeau2008 Před měsícem +1

      @@tom10crafted Side by side is the most fun. Top-bottom is kind of redundant, because when you switch to individual, you have your panorama/horizontal view. That said, i don't dislike it. Confusing, not really that much. But I found that 3 riders was difficult to understand. We don't have positions in real time, so we always try to find where you are in relation to other racers. I know you put the red/blue dots on the track display, but we are still guessing anyway.

    Hello. How did You use camera during 3 hours? One battery or changed?

    • @tom10crafted
      @tom10crafted  Před měsícem +1

      Hey, I am using powerbanks. Switching batteries would be a time waste for sure:) Plus, it creates a bunch of other problems like mismatching timestamps, data offset, etc. Here are both solutions covered:
