@@tom10crafted Žinoma greitis skirtumas gal didžiausias, bet jis gali priklausyti ir nuo fizinės formos, įkalnės visos daug greičiau ivažiuojamos, posūkiai daug greičiau įveikiami tai čia jau esminis techninis skirtumas, jau man atrodė, kad greit važiuoju per kokias sudetingesnes vietas, singletrackai ir t.t, nu ,bet matau, kad galima greičiau 😆 Upelis kažkaip per treniruotę užsifiksavo, kad nevažiuoti, bet irgi nu atrodo lengvai tu jį ten perskridai, net nedvejodamas. Aš pastebėjau, kad ir elitas per dropa nevažiavo tai čia buvo jau WOW 😅😅

@@eltarvydas viskas su laiku, praktika, ir... wattais :D Aš trasos šiemet nevažiavau, tik prieš startą finišą pažiūrėjau, kad nebūtų staigmenų :D Tai tas kanalas kiek iš pernai pamenu pravažiuojamas, daugiau nelabai ir buvo tokių vietų kad reikėtų svarstyti. Kalbant apie šuolius, tai rizikos valdymas čia tikriausiai įsijungia - jei nieko nepraloši nešokdamas, tai automatiškai nėra prasmės ir rizikuoti (spėju tokia logika). O iš organizatorių pusės pilnai suprantama, kad visų vietų nepridarysi su B line'ais tokio ilgio trasoje :)

What happens?

Hey, thanks! As far as I know black (10Nm) is made from different material, softer, thats first. The second, is that that bolt being torqued at 10Nm receives enough stress to be able to loosen. There are plenty of picts in the internet how it looks like when that bolt comes loose (damage frames) So for me it sounds obvious not to risk it and be with peace of mind !

That is funny reasoning, Ivo! Not racing because of being afraid of crashes is pretty much similar thing as not going into the forest because of the wolfs, or bears :D Risks are everywhere, and accepting them usually gives a lot more experiences than trying to avoid something, with rare chance of happening. Sorry to hear about your injury, it is also a part of the game everywhere. Who knows, maybe you will miss the tournament for a reason - to avoid something else bad occurring! It is all a matter of interpretations:) As for the crash, I don't know much what happened to the guys, but there were some bike damages for sure(puncture, broken chainring + chain, saddle, garmin holder, etc), as well as massive hits to shoulders/collarbones for at least two persons.

Hey! Thats true, purely racing situation, which could have unveiled in different scenarios. I don't know how successful first guy felt, but the second (with pink jersey) crashed badly on the shoulder.

Absolutely 32T or 32T oval. Unless you do feel confident climbing for 1h+ on 34T 🥵😅 there are literally almost no flats where you could benefit from bigger chainrings, but more than enough climbs where you would thank me for suggesting 32T! 😅🤘🏼

In short - here is the best deal for the buck: r2-bike.com/SCOTT-Cable-Kit-Spark-2022 If you need measurements,for best performance the MY22 Spark should use a 3mm outer casing with 1mm inner cable for the shock and seatpost,.

I can't tell you whether its doable or not, but the fact is that threads worns out not only inside, but on the bolt as well. Nonetheless, it is soo tiny for significant amount of force applied

Hey, thanks for your interest! There are few main things to consider: 1. What type of courses you usually ride? 2. Are Recon Race's 2.4's atm? 3. Terrain is mostly dry? How much rocks are involved? Never been in Colorado, ha! Those will give some indication to suggest direction

Great thank you! Yes current are 2.4’s and I mainly ride 10-20 mile loops on soft loose over hard pack, often rocky, never wet or muddy. I like to go fast but I’d rather be safe and I love climbs more than fast descents

@@benjammin365 hey! Cause its more or less never wet nor muddy, lower tread profile is something to consider. Now with that in mind, I am not much into Maxxis myself and never tried Ikons - thus don't know how well they perform. However, recently I used quite a lot Pirelli's XC RC Prowall (2.4's) and can admit they work really well in such conditions (been in Ibiza where conditions sounds really similar). They weight ~700g, thus from Recon Race you would save 200g+ per set, as well as would get better rolling. Others say 2.4 Aspens is good choice too, but haven't tried them neither:)

Well, hardtail would kick your balls well enough! :D It was comfy on fully, but just not good setup of tires selection IMO. Well, that was situation which no one noticed, because it seemed legit, and not something impossible to achieve.

Dėkui, Karoli! Apart from size, which is surely the case, I think 54T requires very specific precision, in order to make work. DEG seems to be not only bigger in diameter, but also completely different design with double sided springs - which most likely holds all in place and reduces chances of slippage! By using impact gun you are running bit of risk to damage your ratchet! How? In case of removal tool slipping - you get an idea what would happen, haha!

@@tom10crafted Haha, so far I had no issues with the impact gun! Makes bearing changes super easy and I don’t need to go around the house looking for a random pipe to stick on my wrench for more leverage ;D. Those DT Swiss rings get pretty stuck sometimes.

Sakyčiau ir taip ir ne. Visada galima iš anksčiau šūktelti, pasakyti pro kur, paminėti PYP PYP ir dar daug kitų garsinių signalų, haha. Problema yra tame, kad jei nepasakysi pro kur važiuoji, žmogus pasimes, gali sukti į bet kurią pusę, etc. Tai šitoje vietoje tiesiog išlaukiau kur matau galimybę ir tiek - jokių neskandumų IMO.
