How to Make an Easy Cactus Garden with Painted Rocks

In this video, we use the flat rocks from our weekend beach visit to make some easy cactus crafts. These fun activities kept us busy over the weekend and turned out really cute. We also made some mini cactus rocks and some friendly cactus critters. They give us a really nice bright bit of color inside, as we wait for things to actually start growing outside. Grab some rocks, paint, paint pens/ chalk markers/ or just a thin brush, hot glue, a shallow tray (ours is 3-d printed) and some beads or gravel to fill in the gaps and you're good to go! Some yarn and googly eyes also add some fun to your creations. I bet these would also be fun with air dry clay, or bigger rocks in a deeper dish of sand or gravel! We'll have to go back to the beach for more rocks and keep on crafting! It would also be really fun to put some bigger rocks outside for an outdoor cactus rock garden. So many fun projects from one little bit of inspiration!
