How To Make Cactus Painted Rocks
- As I mentioned this is a very simple project. The important thing will be to locate the correct shaped rocks. You want a nice smooth surface. You should wash and dry them thoroughly so you have a nice clean surface to paint on.
- It’s suggested that you use Green Acrylic Paint. Once you have painted your rocks green, leave them to dry completely. You can then decorate using white paint or a permanent white marker. You can use dots, lines, stars to create effects like shown in the above video.
- Anything goes. It would be a good idea at this point to see the video check out all the Cactus variations. This will provide you with plenty of inspiration.

Painted Rocks
The idea behind these rocks is that you will decorate them and place them in locations for others to find as a “random act of kindness.” Isn’t it a cool idea?
You can also keep the rocks for yourself or give them as gifts. Decorative rocks are perfect for displaying on shelves, in your garden, or as vase filler (the smaller ones, anyway!).
