I was hated by my ex father in law he just changed from nowhere and started hating me. Whenever we visit the village he would ask who cooked if he knew its me he would start shouting and insulting. The woman was a blessing to him but he listened to his family and got killed. My mother went through same experience but she’s alive enjoying her children’s wealth. My fathers family hated her so much because they think that my mother would stop them from eating and enjoying my fathers wealth. They accused her of everything evil that happens in my fathers family it was war for us and our mother but with God help we survived and grow to have our own. My late father died when he left my mother to go stay with his siblings, my mother tried to take him out from them but they wouldn’t allow her , then my dad has became weak and sick, they kept him and be taking money from his estate. My dad also didn't gv his family any space 2 cross their boundaries. Later on, tins went bad 4my dad. My mom became d bread winner. For years, my mom stood by my dad. It was my dad who trained my mom in University. He married her right after secondary school. His family was against my dad training my mom but my dad didn't listen 2dem. And it paid off. If not 4my mom, all of us - 7 chiren our parents have, we wouldn't b where we r. My dad has passed. Now we r evn helping som of his family members. All 7 of us r doing very well. My Dad wasn’t the first born but he was successful, the first born died in Biafra war when my dad was still in his teenage days but he grow up wealthy and became the first born and bank for his family . My dad really tried 4 us by making sure our mother got educated & having a career.
All his friends, cousins, relatvs at d time were against his idea. Most of dem who weren't half as wealthy as my dad kept their wives as full-time housewives, meanwhile my dad was pushing my mom tru sch.
She was schooling, at d same time having us.
I grew up hardly knowing my mom, until I was lik 6-7.
She was almost always in school, coming home only during hols.
She got admission wen I was barely a year old, so my dad encouraged her 2go ahead and leave us - I & my elder sis. My mom started College of Education, got pregnant & had my younger brother b4 she graduated. My dad took care of us all - 3 kids, while my mom was schooling full-time, not part time. He wud bathe, clothe, cook & feed us. Drop & pick us up frm sch - everything ! He was our mother & father at d same time.
He was a senior banker, biz man back den. He cud afford nannies, but chose not 2hv cos he said he couldn't trust his chiren with strangers.
My dad pushed 4my mom 2began BSc. She got pregnant again, had my 2nd brother during her NYSC year.
By d time my mom finished with school and Youth Service, den settled fully with us, I was starting primary sch. My elder sis was already in primary 5.
My mom was a civil servant, she took up teaching, since our dad was well off. Until years later, wen my dad got broke, my mom started doing different biznesses here & there. She struggled. My dear ehn, story long.
My dad's family was waiting 2 laff at him but my mom proved dem wrong. My mom stood by him. More dan 7yrs, my dad down. We suffered but God helped.
2day, all 7 of us stand GIDIGBA.
D least of us has a master's degree. 6 out of d 7 studied abroad - Europe or America. Som of us stayed back abroad, som returned 2 Nigeria.
E dey vex me say our dad die. He shud hv stayed.
My dad was so clear & firm dat none of his family members cud evn sneeze about any land, house or property belonging 2 him after his death. They didn't hv any say at all.
Frm his ill health, hospital stay, till death, mortuary stay, till burial - everything we d chiren planned & took decisions. Not one piim frm any oda person xcept we d chiren. Luckily, we r very much united.
Due 2my xpirience, wen I hear of a man's family members beefing d wife or chiren, I think d men gv room 4 such.
Also, due 2 my parents setting, I don't c men as ATM or Source of income.

When my in law tried to spiritually kill me and it didn't work , he went around ruining my reputation but I thank GOD I know HIM.. This same in law when he got sick I went out of my way to help him yo recover.. People need to know GOD personally..I did not allow what he did to me to let me hate him..
