- Amazon Echo (Alexa) controlling all the light switches and lamps in my home. I'm using the Belkin smart home wall WEMO switches and Belkin WEMO plugs.

each light has a smart switch installed. Then install an Alexa and then just ask Alexa to discover all your home devices

If you loose internet connection does this all this still work?
If the internet goes down it only works manually via wall switches. No voice control.

Perhaps there are a special kind of electric switches ( Smart switch )which work for ALEXA.

In this video, I only have one in the living room. The mic works pretty well and picks up from every room.
