...Anyway, ya girl FINALLY caught up with the tangled series last week and !!!! I was already so into it but !!!! I'm just hecka impressed ok.
I already knew Varian was the villain from spoilers but ;~; I love him ;;~;; I'm sure he isn't done yet tho so I can't wait to see him come back!
Omg also the dAY after I finished s1, the premiere date for s2 was announced. Call it what you will-- fate, destiny...~
•This animation style was suuuuuper fun to edit with! And Varian is just... I just love his character so much. I'd loved him when he was a sweet and dangerous well-meaning child and also when he was a vengeful and dangerous villain child. Well done, @ the writers.

This is probably one of my most favourite Varian AMV’s ever!!!
He was nice, intelligent, dreamy and, unfortunately, naive. He reminded me terribly of Thomas Edisna because he also fascinated with alchemy and had his own laboratorioum in the basement whose outbursts drew his father crazy 🤣🤣 and hate the Rapunzel for how she treated him. First, he comes to him and asks for experiments on his hair and all the time he insults him with cassandra when he is nice to them all the time and turns to them with respect, trying to sap them.When the machines break down, they cut themselves off from it. And this could have been the medieval revolution! He was building a sewage system! He would provide them with running water! Well, what better to do it?He returns in the episode about the science contest, where at the beginning he "helps" to hang the banner, Rapunzel reminds him of problems with the machine and Cassandra growls at him and ignores everything she tells her about. However, he decides to tolerate him only and only for the clever cleansing of the wine stain. Varian does practically everything for her using her skills naively believing that Cassandra will be his assistant.He wastes his time for rehearsals and clears his duties for her when she surrenders him without hesitation and catches herself for protection. Despite displaying and leaving with Amor Varian, he calls the Cassandrium gem
Eventually she fixes the situation by holding him down during a tornado and pushing aside.Varian presents Rapunzel's dangerous stones asking for help and she promises him her. But we meet him only in episode 16, the crisis queen, where we can see how huge the problem is for him dark rocks.Despite the ban on his father, Varian tries to save the village and destroy rocks, fearing that they will reach the castle of Rapunzel. He chooses with his dad to the King and he is disappointed when he lies. Rapunzel again promises to help him. When he argues with his father, he learns that he knows the truth about stones and keeps them from him.By pushing his son Kiri, he got stuck in amber and terrified, Varian runs for help to Rapunzel. He made a really good chunk of the walk during a snowstorm on a dangerous trail. At the time Rapunzel what she did ?! She sipped a cocoa in the window and wondered whether to evade or not? What was the problem? They could evacuate to wait thunderstorms and return or send an army to look for a machine and only after its launch, return.And that's how many hours he's sitting and thinking. At this time, the exhausted Varian reaches the castle. But they did not even let him come in and he had to wade. Why? If everyone could get warm by the fireplace and drink cocoa? When she finally reaches her and explains her tragedies, she states that she still has to think about evacuation.Still afraid that they will not make it yet 5 hours! After which the boy is dumped back into the cold and pulled out by the guards straight on the blizzard ... how ... ok? When he returns, he finds his father frozen in amber and he starts to cry. He is grieving with guilt. When he recovered, he promised himself that he would release his father and that nothing would stop him. AND HERE FITS PEOPLE IN HIS CHARACTER AND FROM CHARMING CHANGES IN HURTED AND LONELY. You will be sure that Rapunzel could not help him because she had to take care of the kingdom but ... what does Rapunzel do after the end of the snowstorm and the parents return? She sits in the window writing a diary while eating a cake. The next day, instead of checking what is happening with him, WILL INVITE YOU TO THE PAINTING WORKSHOPS! Completely forgetting about your sweetheart friend.Again we have news from him when his raccoon brings a letter in which Varian asks him to provide him with a roll from his laboratory. As we can see, it is destroyed. In secret of the flower, the boy says that people do not like rascals attacking their princesses (this is the moment when he touched her shoulder in 16 episode) and in personality personalities, or something like this at the end, we see that he fished out a bottle from the FOREST River, which leads to speculation that he escaped to the forest in front of a furious crowd. But what does Rapunzel care about the fate of a 16-year-old or how old is Varian? wandering alone in the woods? Her daddy lied to her and it's more important than a friend.He forgets about him again. Only when he manages to make a potion from the brew and give it to others he goes to her personally so that no one will catch him. He begs Rapunzel for help in taking an unlightly flower in the street for 18 years! And she still does not want to help him and only after persuading agrees to one petal. Some wonder for me, Varian is considered a public enemy No. 1 because he gave everyone a harmless serum of truth through which nothing significant has come to light.

Personally, watching the entangled does not look at the fate of Rapunzel and her friends just on Varian and on how badly they treat him all the time! The most amusing was when my father made a check - today's face the danger like never before it means that they have never fought anything more cunning than a 14-year-old boy, and so they constantly forbade him to develop and nobody helped him with the inventors. So Varian The Series ... we're waiting for you!
