    Dude, you are a very good mechanic. I don’t want to say ‘garage mechanic’ because I don’t think that sounds good, but their are a LOT of ‘us’ out there that that work on friends and families lawn equipment and toys, and they bring you this ‘basket case’ and want you to ‘just do your thing, to run, that’ll be good enough’ and for $20.00 and a 12 pack. Then like you pointed out, there are always other things that need to be addressed ,and I always end up fixing or ‘patching them up’, usually from parts I have laying around and the actual labor.
    So at the end, your ‘FRIENDs’ in my case do not realize not only the physical labor of bending and twisting to get at this crap, or the amount of time and research needed to trouble shoot, the heat of my little garage shop, electric, rags, cleaners, lubricants, brake Kleen, hardware, electrical connectors, tape, emery cloth, drill bits, oil dry, de greasers, etc etc for their “Come on Buddy, you can do this for me, you’re great at this, easy for you”, while meanwhile your actually losing money and your personal equipment gets neglected, which may end up costing you more money in the end.
    So sorry about the rant, but it really was to applaud you for your work from a guy that has been there, and still can’t say no.
    Loved your video. Sorry if I polluted it, but I can almost gaurentee that a lot of ‘garage mechanics’ that read this will agree.

    The connector plugs on ATV's are known failure points. The type of pins they use are tiny and lose connectivity easily. I had a Cub Cadet that I had to constantly mess with those connectors on. Sometimes just disconnecting and spraying some electric cleaner or brake clean on them and reconnecting would fix it.

    What were the wires connected too? Was it just from one plug? I’m having similar issues. Thnks

      The wire were from the crankshaft position sensor. Thank you for watching.

    Where did you get the new fuel pump?

    • @RaymoreRepair
      @RaymoreRepair  Před rokem +1

      It was from Ebay. The owner of the unit did not want to spend the money for an OEM part. Thank you for watching.
