don't know but I know Lasseindra and met her several times and spent time with her and Lasseindra is just his ballroom name, he goes by the name Xavier. I know I mix he/she pronouns but it's just more natural to use 'she' when talking about Lasseindra.

Inxi simply brought the FIRE this time around. Lasseindra seem to worn out from battling Veronika but there was some grace to Lasseindra's moves this time. Still, Inxi was FIERCE and deserved the win.

Inxi's fatal flaw when she did Sailor Moon was her lack of pacing. She recovered suuuper slowly from death drops. Here, she vogues immediately after a drop even though she can't up super fast, likely due to a lack of muscle. Also, as Sailor Moon, she was more just dancing than vogueing, even though it was fierce as fuck. Lasseindra definitely deserved that win, and people who complain likely just prefer Inxi bc she's stereo-typically white-girl attractive. Lasseindra was pure vogue in that battle. Inxi deserved this win, but I'm sad that Lasseindra had to go into it exhausted. Also, keep in mind, Lasseindra has contributed so much to the vogueing community. She is a legend. I seriously love how sweet, and the level of sportsladyship Inxi has with other contestants. She was amazing here! AND I SO HATE WHEN PEOPLE SAY LASSEINDRA WON BEFORE BC SHE'S A GAY MAN. WTF - SHE'S 100% A LADY!!!

Lasseindra wasn't worse than in her battle with Veronika but still, it was too aggressive, she was exhausted and idk this didn't look very "vogue" to me, compared to her usual stuff. Inxi finally won, idk why she didn't win in 2013, her Sailor Moon vogueing was awesome af

@@catola_ Kiyana’s dips weren’t clean and I’m sure the judges noticed that for one she just fell on her ass instead of dipping. And the glitter was after the “hold that pose”. If you can’t finish your final pose within the time even with a gimmick I don’t think you should win
Just realizing that watching voguing videos when I was like 13 has influenced the kind of dance I wish I was good at (When I don't dance in the first place) and I always end up trying to vogue when I dance to myself lol

Inxi's style of voguing is very controlled, feels almost choregraphed. Tbh, she's a great voguer but i think her moves lack a bit of let-go, spontaneity and fierceness.

ganjawitch death drops are a completely different move. It’s where a dancer jumps and lands on their back with their legs in a deep middle split. It’s actually called dip in the ballroom scene, that’s the proper name

To summarize a dip is an iconic move from voguing, and one for the core elements for Vogue fem, when drag queens started using the move on Drag Race the show dubbed it a death drop.
Now despite the fact that a massive amount of the lingo and references from drag race come directly from ballroom, drag race doesn't lift up or educate people on ballroom, nor does it include the incredibly talented queens from ballroom on the show (to date the only true ballroom queens on the show were Mariah Paris Balenciaga from season 3, and Kimora Amour from Canadian drag race)
In this way using death drop instead of the original term dip is kinda like a form of appropriation(taking from an unappreciated unsupported, looked down on subculture, and being popularized and glamorized as only being from a tv show) and to honor the history and impact of ballroom you should use the term dip.

+Hannah Batt Yes he's saying cunt. Here it is a term of endearment that just means girly. It is one of the criteria that judges use to determine the best femme voguer. It's all those the subtle femmy moves that models and pin up girls often use to pose. They can add up to lots of points from the judges. In general, Inxi's vogue style is way more girly (cunt) than Lasseindra's. The other criteria that they judge on is dramatics. Those are the harder athletic moves, like when you see them do death drops. Lasseindra tends to be more dramatic here, but wore herself out in earlier rounds.
