Because you have seen Ricky and Gina’s song in s4, basically their flashbacks are every time they almost became a thing. So as you can tell from later on and recognize the scene, that was almost this time. On the car in the homecoming ep, and some times later on the show too. They are truly a slow burn😭 but yes ricky and gina clearly had a thing for each other since s1.

The Homecoming episode is what made me ship Ricky and Gina. I love their season 1 one moments. It always annoyed me that Nini gets jealous in this episode. She literally broke up with Ricky
