Saturn vue 3.5 Exhaust removal

- I need to replace the transmission in my 2006 Saturn Vue so I had to remove the exhaust this information will be the same for the 2004 2005 2007 2006 Saturn Vue with the 3.5 Honda engine and transmission it more than likely also covers the 2002 and 2003 exhaust removal as well. Hopefully the video was helpful for you

Quick question. I’m not really mechanically inclined, but I try just about anything on my own. What is a next step if you bust some of the exhaust bolts when trying to take the exhaust nuts off the manifolds in the front near the oil pan? Can they be grinded down or drilled out? Or am I out of luck and need to do some welding? (2005 Saturn Vue)
So what would be considered a bad cat? Changed out all of the mounts and the Saturn vue 3.5 has a I guess sounding like w clogged exhaust in a way
Which is the catalytic converter so i can spray paint it- reducing the chances of it getting stolen? It's a huge problem here.
what would happen if I remove the cat converter on my 2006 saturn vue ? where I live there is no smog check required
Sorry didn’t see this before….. The vehicle would go into limp mode meaning that it would not know how to mix the fuel in the air correctly because it would not be registering the O2 sensors properly.
If you did that you could install a O2 sensor simulator in the end of the plugs and then your engine will constantly make the proper fuel mixture ratio
We have a 2003 Vue with the 3.0 v6. Exhaust 'leaking'' where it connects to the motor. The flex looking piece looks rotted. Can just that part be replaced? It's really loud.

@Lexie Nieves listen near the tail pipe to hear if it's straining to let exhaust out . Or out your hand near the pipe & you can feel a steady flow of exhaust. If the exhaust feels like it's coughing or straining to come out it's usually the. Converter
@Lexie Nieves If it's the fuel pump a simple can of starter fluid can give you the answer. Disconnect the large blk hose connected on too the engine . Have someone spray it into the intake then start the 🚗. Just as it's about to cut off have them spray another squirt in there. Of it keeps running it's DEFINATELY the fuel pump.
Hey Lexi I’m not sure what you have going on but I doubt it has anything to do with the catalytic converter. It’s possible but it would be extremely hard to diagnose the problem that you have over the Internet I’m very sorry I wish I could be of more help
My 2009 Vue with AWD has a dual exaust system
But it’s not a 3.5 ……
