    hi rohit,
since you have said you had a darshan of patanjali thrice, i would like to share my experience once when i started doing sadhana(i am an isha yoga initiator) the very first time in 2-3 days i had a vision of a strange and strong figure with snake upto waist and human body from waist was appearing like as if in a old historical sepia tone. the first time i really got shaken as i was doing the sadhana and this vision was appearing so strong while doing the sadhana. i have never seen a figure like that as of my memory. i am not boasting my experience but i am just thrilled and excited to share it, but i don't know how did that vision appeared? energy shift?? :)

It is a Naga devata not necessarily Patanjali... they are the power behind most forms of Kundalini and kriya yoga hence the vision... doesnt mean anything in particular, the hard work of sadhana remains to be done!
