That Mad-Eye wand is ridiculously rare not only because of the Ollivander wand box, but because it’s a different design that was in Goblet of Fire from what it looks like now.
So true. I’ve lost out on multiple bids whenever I’m lucky enough to come across one.

The only items I saved up for & bought from Noble Collection was Bilbo's Sting Sword, The Sword of Gryffindor, a map of Middle Earth & the Hogwarts Castle. I was so proud of those purchases because I bought them with the money I earned from my first paying job when I was 17. Now they hang proudly in my living room for all to see.

I'm with you. I prefer items that look like something out of the magical world, rather than items that 'belonged' to characters, if that makes sense. But even so, it's impossible not to smile watching Peter's genuine joy at these items.

You are wise to NOT collect but still appreciate collections. That means you still have cash in your pocket and space in your closet. As an over zealous collector, I often wish I could go back and turn away from the temptation of merchandise. Thanks for gives sharing your appreciation of Peter’s enthusiasm.

I'm just crying seeing this collection!! While I was married my husband fueled my Harry Potter obsession by building my collection. After he passed away my evil in-laws came into my house (when I wasnt there) and destroyed everything. Seeing all of this brings back so many memories! Thank you for sharing❤️

I love collecting HP merchandise, but since I live in a third world country, it's extremely difficult and expensive to buy the official ones. I have 30 wands, all are unofficial replicas. The WW website doesn't ship to my country. Hopefully someday I can go to the US/ UK to buy the official wands
You and me both. I am just collecting the books right now Mina Lima and Illustrated ones are my fav ones right now. And I don't see it being feasible bringing back a large amount of items from the US. I might get a few wands and trinkits that I enjoy. But, I don't think I can ever collect like a real collector tbh. Customs is harsh in my country. I will just enjoy watching Peter unbox his collections and live Vicariously through him.
I don’t know if this is a possibility for you but if you have someone from the US that you know, you can ship it to their house and have them ship it to you. That could take a while and be expensive so not sure if that’s worth it but it’s the way that I’ve seen others get things that don’t ship to their country. Hope one day you can own some(:
Same as me. It is so hard to collect in most of the countries. I spend 1/3 of my wage to harry potter and still can buy 3 non expensive official items with it.
@@bribrimarie I just hope Barnes and Noble releases products in our countries too. We have alot of Potter heads outside of the UK/US. Just ordered my first wand yesterday found a store making some quality stuff here.

idk there was something extra special about being able to control different aspects of the wizarding world with the wand when in universal, like it made the experience much more immersive

Thanks for the video. It brought back some nice memories. I remember I collected some of the early wands back then in mid 2000s and still remember the pure joy as they were delivered to me. They are kept in their original boxes. And I also kept the old Noble Collection catalogs. They were like a treasure for me back then. Some items were too expensive for me but at least I could look at them in the catalog and admire the pieces like the house themed chess game.
Love this! I’m so glad to see others so happy about HP items, too. They make my heart happy and I’m glad they do that for others as well.

First wand I bought for my daughter at Universal Orlando in January of 2011 was Hermione's wand. The detail was great but... it was green. They apparently had some issues with the pigments on some of the early wands and admitted as much. Hermione's wand now is more of a darker wooden look to it with a hint of green mixed in, where as the one my daughter owns is just straight up GREEN. 😂 Maybe it will be worth more someday because of it's unique color. 😁

Wow. This is bringing back memories! My older brother was a huge fan while these movies were coming out, but I was only like 5ish so I didn't really care. BUT, my brother had Harry's wand in the Ollivander box, and I remember the little fabric strips that laid over his wand! Well anyways I would always get it out cause I thought it was awesome and seemed magical (I didn't really know it was *supposed* to seem magical lmfao) and just kinda hold it, but I broke the base off! My brother was suuuuuper pissed and we had to super glue it back together. I'm not sure where he got it, but I remember those boxes (he had another one but I can't remember which character it was for) but we would play, as I had a wizards of Waverly place wand that played the the theme song and stuff, and pretend to use magic lol.

The noble collection retired a Hungarian horntail bookend and I've been so devastated I haven't been able to find one!
Gotta appreciate how hardcore the previous owner was in keeping all the original packaging and neatly labeling everything

I wish they made( or anyone made) the great hall's house oil lamp ( big black with the animal of each house supporting the oil pan) in a smaller 18ish inch version to complete my great hall dinning room!

I snatched the Cho chang wand in the collectible box for $15 + shipping on ebay. I’m not sure if I got incredibly lucky and the seller didn’t realize…I just thought she wasn’t a popular character. So jealous of your mad eye one!
Great haul. I own a bunch of the Noble Collection items and I had no idea that so many of them are now discontinued. So glad I picked them up back in the day when they first came out.
I too did the same thing. Plus back in the day EBAY was the place to go to as some people had no idea what they had or they would not of sold it so cheaply.
I like that you tell us things you didn’t know and learned, some people try to be a know it all not spitting fake facts

Okay this makes soo much sense! Like when Peter showed the deathly hallows ring in the Potter Collector's sale, i was like damn Peter what the heck did you do to scratch it?? Like what is going on in the that Library?! But it makes sense that he got it from this haul then sold it since he already has his.
I definitely recommend that book 2:32 I have it. The props are awesome.
I also own those Comic Relief versions 3:15 with the same design, but in Spanish.

Ajjajajaj!!! The wands with the doble see through are fantastic. I remember when I purchase my Snape wand. It was so cool and funny. My mom (who didn't understand most of my love for HP) thought that it was a necklace or a piece of jewelry. While my best friend and I were super excited on the wand she was making faces at us 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm already waiting for the video of those 🤗

I went to the Harry Potter exhibition when I was little too likely around the same time in Chicago. I was maybe around 5 or 6 myself but it was really cool and i remember it.
Those first edition noble collection wands are awesome! I have Voldemort’s one which I bought on my first trip to new york years back :)

A HP item I had from I believe the 7th book release, I got a free purple with a yellow/orange lightning bolt book light with my book preorder. I lost it probably at my grandparent's house in CA in 2008. I live in NC and it's probably long gone now. One item I wish I could find again.
I grew up in Thailand and was surprised to see that The Prisoner of Azkaban print at 10:47 is in Thai :)

this makes me excited to see about the wands around 15:00 because i have an original Ollivanders box for Hermione's wand. I own 3 wands now and I think that is enough for me, i am looking to display them properly soon on my bookshelf. Like mentioned in the video, i prefer the original wands that aren't interactive. They are better quality, not plastic feeling, nice detail, and heavier! My newest addition was Luna Lovegood's second wand :) In total, I own Hermione, Sirius Black, and Luna!

I try and get to Warner Brothers Studios at least once a year and it never fails to amaze me. Absolute cracking stuff and the shop is to die for but you need to re mortgage your home to pay for it. I purchased all the wands of every character since my first visit and this first edition claptrap is tosh. They are so massed produced and made in China but still are pretty awsome. On my last visit there were a Chinese family with 8 trolly loads worth of merchandise and it came to £22000.

I’m a 60+ year old Gryffindor alumni whose a passholder for both Universal Parks and a 3 time visitor to the London Tour, and even visited the real Hogwarts Express in Scotland.

My boyfriend carved a wand for me when I mentioned wanting a wand of my own. He even tried to find pear wood to match my Pottermore result, but had to settle for something more accessible in our area.

I just keep mine on my kitchen counter in a pile, but I love them,lol. I love my Hermione Walmart wand the best cause it was my first, though I have a few Noble Collection wands now too (Ginny, Luna and Snape)
Hey Peter Kenneth the Harry Potter charm bracelet. You can actually still buy from the catalog. When you buy it from the catalog you actually have to buy each charm separately and the bracelet itself separately.
I have the film book. Got it for Christmas one year. I still look through it every now and then. Read it all about 10 times lol also have several decks lol 😆

Oh wow this was amazing it must have been so exciting opening the boxes 😀 omg I love the comic relief books in their packaging I've never seen them like that before, I'd love to even just own the books 📚 they were released in the uk but are a nightmare to find now in good condition as they sold out within hours everywhere !! Those are the only English editions of those 2 books I'm missing I have all the other Uk and American editions lol infact it was easier to find the American editions in the uk that those uk editions I good condition 🤣🤣
