As a frequent business traveller, Cathay is the best to me, great seats, good schedules, good boarding gates, and smooth check in, luggage is always fast. I personally just expect a warm hello from the crews, and hope they wont keep coming to me to check on me, as i fly so often. I prefer efficiency over attentive. But that’s just my choice given i ve had too many diff exp with diff airlines.
CX is way too under staff after covid since they fired most of the FA during covid. Now they are desperately trying to hire more FA but not offering enough money or incentive, Also catering was always hit and miss for Cathay, even first class meals are nothing special.

I watch these videos for only one reason - to see what the bed is like. I can't sleep anymore in economy seats (age and nerve damage) and since I am a FT traveler I change continents a couple times/year. One can cross the Atlantic on day flights (Dublin/London - New York/Boston), but that doesn't work often on other continent changes. And these seats/beds are not super huge, but the difference to me is HUGE. Am not wealthy and my yearly spending has been ~$50K for the last 4 years of planet wandering, so you know even the best priced biz class seats are a large portion of my yearly spend. I don't do loyalty programs or any points chasing as I prefer to live my life as unscheduled and simply as possible, and I never seem to fly on the same airline or airline group anyway. I have yet to find a lie flat biz class seat that is less than wonderful. Korean Air: Atlanta - Seoul is my best experience yet. I highly recommend you consider biz class seats if you can, in any way, afford it. Yes, $3-4K is way too much for just traveling, but since ships don't ply the seas anymore, this is the only civilized way to move about comfortably.

I flew Cathay Pacific in business class from Los Angeles to Bangkok Thailand, with a layover in Hong Kong. The service seem to be lacking a little bit, but I’m not high maintenance lol the food was lacking except for the hamburger which I thoroughly enjoyed, yes, I would fly with them again .
