I wish that Rare and Nintendo worked together again. I miss the Donkey Kong Country games and DK64. And I also want King K Rool back in Donkey Kong Games
It literally wouldn't matter at this point, almost no one from the Nintendo days of Rare is even there anymore, most moved on to PlayTonic Games or other dev studios.
I think the new Donkey Kong Country Games are better than the older ones in my opion.

I've been drowning myself in Banjo and Kazooie music lately. I love the franchise. Played it for the first time back in 2018 and I still need to beat tooie. During the Xbox presentation I saw the Rare logo and I started crying. Not banjo, but the new game still looks cool with the Cinematic but man I totally thought it was banjo. I got fooled
It didn't say "World Premiere" before the Rare logo, which should've been the big hint that it was Everwild.
@@X2011racer yeah I just didn't know whatever wild was. I saw a rare and I panicked. But that was my fault. I think the bear in The Bird will be showing within a four year period. I'd like a remaster of the first 2 games

The worst thing about banjo pilot is that grunty has a plane when she has a flying broom. It’s like why does sonic need a car in the sonic racing games.
A plane is faster than a broom. In contrast, Sonic drives a car to slow himself down and make it fair for the other characters.

Banjo-Pilot may be just a reskin and patched version of Diddy Kong Pilot's almost finalized ROM, but it's still a ton of fun to complete. Getting those really funny messages on completion really is unlike anything else.

on top of Diddy Kong Pilot being reworked into Banjo Pilot, Rare's other Donkey Kong title in development for GBA, Donkey Kong Coconut Crackers, was reworked into It's Mr Pants.

I think Nintendo got REEEEAAALLY lucky with how big diddy Kong racing got. I mean it sounds like one of those snes games that got basically no where that no one liked and everyone thought it was a cash grab

Huh. I just got finished listening to the original voiceovers for Diddy Kong Pilot's 2003 build. I am impressed that they gave DK and company full voice acting for a handheld racer. I can only imagine how much more voices would be in a GameCube version.
Banjo-Pilot looks interesting. It seems like a cute little time with the Banjo-Kazooie universe. I think it was the last time Banjo-Kazooie appeared on any sort of Nintendo console before Smash Ultimate...

This game isn't the best game in the world or on the GBA, but I have a soft spot for it.
It's fun enough, and contributes in its final form to give us an additional Banjo & Kazooie game, which isn't a bad thing, since there aren't many.
I can't agree enough, however, that the planes aren't as fun when your tracks are more similar to those for regular karts than something made with an airplane in mind, I blame the absence of real 3D and screen size, being on the GBA.
By the way, Bottles replacing Cranky makes him a god, think about him like Super Sonic in Sonic R, it's that broken, here even more so, since the tracks made for the planes are more open, so that's a win in my book.

Wow this game had a crazy backstory, So there's really 2 Banjo Racing games huh? Wasn't there also supposed to be a Donkey Kong racing too?
Donkey Kong Racing only had a trailer done; Development never really started as only the trailer and renders of the Kongs were completed.
Nintendo could've continued the project themselves, but all their internal development teams were seemingly busy with their own projects. And even if that wasn't the case, They would have to remove Taj as he's owned by Rare.

Motion controls on the device the screen is on has really never been a good thing. You're moving around the thing you're supposed to look at. That's why the Wii has more successful in this, because you're not looking at what you're moving around.
I know that motion controls mobile games exists, I haven't played them, but I suspect the same thing here. Don't use motion controls on a screen.
What about Donkey Kong Racing the sequel that was planned for the GameCube?
