Its Friday evening in Las Vegas and I am headed to my favorite Goodwill at Rainbow and Cheyenne. I have my reuseable shopping bags and Thrifting Vegas blanket, and they must have just restocked the shelves because I'm so excited at how quickly my cart fills up with treasure! Thrift with me and learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf, and why. Stay to watch my haul where I show you everything I found, what I paid and what I expect to get for it. I am looking for a green ceramic Christmas tree like my great grandmother had when I was a child. I do not have the ability to repair unfortunately.

Canisters, do you ever ask the cashiers to look in back to see if they have the missing piece? YOU are so lucky to find the missing items on your 2nd trip! That happens to you often. Glad you got the cups and saucers
Hi and thank you! The Goodwill sorting and labeling areas here are huge so I'm hesitant to ask the staff to look for a particular piece. I'm always hopeful that they'll turn up on the shelves! I've even found missing items in a different Goodwill! 😃💖

I'm so glad you went back for the santa and mrs. Claus on the couch. I found one years ago and let my son give it to my mom because santa snores and she hums they reminded me of my mom and dad dad would take an occasional nap and mom used to hum constantly. I hope yours will work too, please let us know if it does.

Not having the last piece to a puzzle is something that would usually annoy me but I was into puzzles for a while and bought a bunch from a thrift store, a few had a missing piece and it actually didn't bother me because I enjoyed putting the puzzle together
I admire you, the puzzles gave you pleasure and they didn't need to be perfect. 😊❤️

Great haul. Hope the snowman and snowflake work out for you. I have 3 large snowflakes. Hang 1on porch, 1 in window and 1 in tree. Also hang small white flakes w blue lights inside string lights on tall hedge. Love the look.

The collapsible snowman would have come with a metal stand that you placed him over to hold him up with lights on it. They look cute all lit up. It's a shame his stand wasn't there with him. That's why I always try to keep the box for things like that. Hopefully you can come up with an inventive way to hang him up. Great score with the light up snowflake. I have one just like it that I have had forever.
I love it when you are able to reunite sets, even days later when you go back for another shopping trip. It would be great if the people pricing and putting things out in the back would try and do a better job of keeping items that come together that way.
I live in central Indiana, my town has one Goodwill and it's tiny. I watch you and several other resellers, and I am amazed at how high the prices are in my store versus any of the ones you all shop at. They just raised all the prices here in May. People could barely afford to shop there unless it was a 50% sale and they only do two of those a month. One the 1st Saturday for everyone and the second Tuesday for seniors. They don't even do senior Wednesdays here.
So when I watch you and others shop, I understand why you say some prices are too much for resale, but would be ok if buying for yourself. Then I scratch my head and wonder why the same item in Las Vegas is $3.99, but in podunk Logansport, Indiana it would be $8.99 or more? The Goodwill math makes no sense to me.
A ski tow was a motorised rope that you grab on ( with your skis on) to and it would take you up to be able to ski down from the top of it.

that is a tow station where people could hold on to a rope that would tow them up to the top and they could ski or slide down the hill...I tired to look up that plant but could not find it...looks like it would be a valuable foraging plant. Its nice that you and your husband find time to do the things you enjoy with the puppies, some quiet time

That kitten lampshade came on a base of an armchair with kittens all over it, plus a few little kittens whose paws were shaped so they could hang on the top of the shade. The lamp and shade are in my bedroom. The little kittens are...somewhere lol. I know where I lived when I received it, so it's from 2001 or earlier.
I had one as a teenager... that was 1983-1989 I believe my mother still has it.

Oh girl! I have cut and poked my mouth so many times on those metal straws! I only use those silicone top straws.. easy to clean and no more cuts! Good episode! From here in Lake Havasu..
