Sevendust is a very underrated band. LJW has one of the best voices around and is one of the nicest humans you will ever meet. It would be hard to find a band who appreciates their fans as much as these guys. Also, to Brad: LJ has stated that many times they give songs 'working titles' and just never choose to change them once completed. More Sevendust please!

Definitely one of the best live bands ever, they even have BBQ's for after show VIP parties occassionally.
As a Georgia boy this is my favorite band. The story of what happened to his brother is messed up too.

That make sense with the lyrics. I thought waffle was a metaphor for copies, the way waffle makers make it easy for anyone to make a waffle.

Theres also a thing out there that says lajon and the band was just relaxing and drunk and just wanted to name a song waffle lol
Lajon is also from Norcross GA the headquarters of Waffle House, where they spent a lot of time pondering late at night.

Sevendust is a big influence on modern metal. I've been into them since 1999. They can go from heavy to beautiful haunting acoustic stuff like xmas day.
X-mas day is a very under rated song. Can't go wrong with any sevendust
I was today years old when I heard them the first time- and also this film clip.. at first I was struggling to to place which decade they came from- bc they sound quite modern, not dated, anyway. (I was waiting for the grunge kids to turn into emos)

I did concert security back in the day at venues around Detroit. Lajon the singer, is notoriously the nicest guy in the biz. He loves to hang with fans and walked across the whole yard out back by the buses to shake my hand for working for them that day. Such a great guy.

Finally.. someone did 7dust. These guys got lots of great great songs. Ive seen them live many many times and have meet them all and they are the nicest bunch of southern boys you could ever meet. I even stood at the bar and had a beer with the singer and we talked for a long time. No rock star b.s. what so ever, down to earth great great guys! Love them.
I had a similar experience. Was chatting with Lajon at the bar while Chevelle was playing...I had no idea it was even him until my friend walked up and started freaking out. Super chill, down to earth dude.

Denial is my favorite song of all time. X-mas day, Angel's son, Praise, basically anything of theirs is pure gold across any album. Sevendust is my second favorite band only behind The Smashing Pumpkins

Seen Sevendust 3 times. Hung out with the band 1 time after a show at The Checkered Flag. The most genuinely appreciative guys you would ever meet. They respect and love their fans.

First time I heard of Sevendust was in about 1999 they were one of the openers for Slipknot. I just remember their show and their sound being sound damn good in live concert.

I worked at TVT Records when their first two albums came out and I must've seen them a dozen times promoting those records. Their live shows produced an amazing energy that definitely caught on. They were all very cool guys, if I'm remembering correctly.

Absolutely amazing band! Also every single person that says they have met the band will never have a bad word to say about any of the members. They are all so genuine, no BS and love what they do. Morgan is one of the coolest people i've ever met, told me an amazing story about him staying the night in Tommy Lee's house too! haha
Sevendust has so many bangers! I used to run into Lajon a lot when I lived near him. Some of the best shows have been their local atlanta shows when they pack in a small venue.

Morgan’s drumming, LJs voice, and the unique rhythmic cadence of the Clint and John’s guitars are all signature pieces of this band, they’re been doing it for decades and are they’re still completely underground. it’s cool to see 7D get some shine.

THE MOST UNDERRATED AND HARDEST WORKING BAND TODAY N THE LAST 24 YEARS!!!! FACTS! They have always sounded 100% great all 18 times I've seen them. Lajon is so damn 🔥 live. And he was in an R&B band when they found him. There's not ONE bad song by these guys. I suggest "Bitch" or " Angels Son"!

Lajon is one of the kindest individuals. Ive met him multiple times and seen him be amazing for years.
I met the lead singer once at a recording studio where my band was recording. He's a super cool dude.

One of the very best bands I've seen in concert, and I've seen a lot of concerts. Also the fact that they're not a huge band means you can usually see them in a smaller venue, which just makes the experience better.

Love me some Sevendust. Great touring band, great singer and music. The total package and yeah really really underrated. Live Again was one of my more mellow favorites.
I like all the tracks off their self titled debut album - nobody sounded like they did at that time. I feel they morphed their sound after to follow other nu metal bands like Korn. Not that it was terrible, but I enjoyed the authenticity of the debut best. Less produced and more raw, heavy riffs.
Listening to MY JAMS now......love 7Dust. One of my favs.
They have a nice mesh of songs throughout their catalog that is melodic, garage jam bandish, heavy, pump up, ones to gef you in your feelings and the range lajon witherspoon has in vocals is nice. Morgan the drummer does good background singing. I highly recommend "face to face" and "separate" as a couple to get into and "praise"

You also see a VERY young Krysten Ritter(Jessica Jones, Breaking Bad etc etc etc) in this video. She was like 18 years old in this. Seen Sevendust live twice and they are SO good. LOTS of energy and they seem to "hit harder" in their live performances. GREAT reaction once again. \m/
