Are two buttons needed? Or could you do one on each side?

@@andreaf5765 yes, of course, you could use one button on each side. I use 2 buttons on each because the cup sleeve is a bit wider than regular one you get from Starbuck, it also make the flap stay flat on each corners.

This is a great idea!! I have found other coffee sleeve cozy patterns without a handle that are free, too bad this isn't. Really nice idea, unfortunately not available free like others. :(

Easy. Find a free pattern, cut out strip of cloth for a handle. That's what I did. Good luck.

Does this fit the same type of Cup in different sizes also?

It fits the tall cup, too. The elastic fastener is stretchable so that it will adjust to the diameter of the cup.
