      Congratulations! I had two C classes before this and I really love this car. I plan to own this for a while and at some point I may upgrade to the 20-in multi-spoke wheels if I can find them for a reasonable price. I also own a set of 18 in wheels for this which I typically use in the winter. Also really nice looking wheels and to be totally honest, I didn't notice a major difference in ride quality going down to the 18 so I believe the 20 would ride pretty well and I wouldn't lose quality.

    It's so great to have a tool like CZcams for entertainment as well to find just about anything one needs or wants to know. I just got my 2017 E 400 Coupe' ( 2 WD ) back from the dealer. I'd like to comment in another post about that experience. My last payment came out of my account in Dec 2022. Now SHE's ALL MINE! After my first visit to the dealer in the state where I live vs where I purchased her, I was thrilled with all of the attention MB gave to me for a state required emission test. Besides being " first class " ( my words after getting into my washed and vacuumed baby ) The service manager walked me back to the car and asked if I had any questions; which I did not have. He mentioned and pointed out this difference between my 2017 and the newer ones 2018 and up. Someone asked you about the rear end style in comments and had the service manager not mentioned it and pointed out the difference it might have taken more time for me to notice. Now that I know, I notice it automatically just driving down the road. I'm going to attempt to photography side by side the differences. If, as the saying goes " Beauty is in the EYE of The Beholder" then a new buyer may get to choose what they like better; if THAT even matters to them. Nearly every review that I watched was a RAVE REVIEW.

      Congratulations! In the eye of the beholder for sure. Glad you got to compare and love the 2017! I bet some of the issues I had with the interior trim noise are not present in yours. They were fixed under warranty and I’m still happy and overall appreciate the attention to detail with the dealership and MB vehicles.

    Hi Chris, enjoy watching your review a lot. :) As a 2018 E400 coupe owner in Canada, I have the same 19" AMG wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires, which also come on Corvette C8. So far it works great even on snowy conditions. Mine doesn't come with air suspension either, unlike my 2018 GLE400. Airmatic suspension does a far better job on driving comfort though the system costs an arm and a leg when it comes to replacement. Also, one thing surprised me was that you could store videos in some thumb drive and play them full screen while idling! Last but not least, I love the message function and heated panels (center console and door panels) especially we have cold winters in the north.

      @@zachecho9167 A 2017 for sure at low 40s- that would be the previous generation. I think mid to high 40s is possible if you go with higher miles used (like 30k miles) for a 2018. Easily possible if you did a 2018 E300 or 350 sedan, but the coupes are pricier than the sedan and do not offer a 4 cylinder option. For that price range though, you may need to forgo some of the more expensive options like the autopilot for the coupe.

    I have a 2015 E 350 4matic sedan and I am looking to get the E400 or 450 coupe, that's why I am here. I saw you do the foot under the bumper trick I guess thats what you would call it. On mines it works both ways. Kick to open and kick to close. One thing I have learned about Mercedes(this is my 2nd one) is that redundancy is key with them. The latch in you driver door to open the trunk also closes the trunk too by pushing it the other way.

    • @munton5150
      @munton5150  Před 2 lety +1

      That's awesome! That is a great car you have. Yes this one also works with the kick to open and to close as well. I also did another video where I compared the sedan to the coupe if you're interested in checking it out- it's basically the same generation but the coupe versus the sedan. It's on my channel. I always go back and forth between which one I would want more, but for now I love this coupe version. One of the reasons I didn't do the sedan is it looked too similar to the previous C-Class I owned within this generation of Mercedes. But quite honestly, I just fell in love with the coupe after I test drove it.

      @@munton5150 I have the lighting package as well and quite frankly I like the first generation of the intelligent light system is awesome along with the LED lights is what made me go and get the E class. But the I'm in my car and I forgot to close the trunk days are over. I don't know any luxury vehicle that did that in 2015. As a matter of fact Mercedes doesn't even tell you about how you can close your trunk without getting out.

    • @munton5150
      @munton5150  Před 2 lety +1

      @@craigersuis I also have the intelligent LED system as well. It steers with the car and when you turn on the lights at night with the high beams it looks like you are in a military helicopter or something. I don't know how else to describe how amazing it lights things outside and the little light show that it does when you first turn the car on. I was picking up a pizza once and turned the lights on before as I was leaving and everyone inside had this look of awe. And then you have the whole selectable color with the internal LED lights. This car is the full package and the first time I really wanted to hold on to something for a while. The only thing I'm thinking about upgrading is the wheels. They are definitely very classy but they are not quite as sporty looking. In the review I did comparing to the sedan you can see the other set of wheels I have which are the 18 in. Now I have that itch to do the 20 in.
