When Mayaji build Ambedkar park using Rs. 350 Crore media and opposition were criticised her badly, but when Modiji build Sardar Patel's statue by spending more than Rs. 3500 crore everyone kept mum.
And the Saifai Mahotsav organised every year by SP.

Firstly, Ambedkar suggested reservations should be for 25 years and any extension (or otherwise) after 25 years should have the approval of two-thirds of members of Parliament. ie. Voting that yes it is over. And its not.
Also he never said "or it could cause troubles". Please don't lie.

Why does reservation still exist?
a) Politics
b) People in the SC, ST class are still oppressed and backwards.
-Ever heard of the Karamchedu or Tsundur massacre. 38 and 44 years AFTER Independence.
-Heard of manual scavenging? Do you who does this? with no provisions?. Still prevalent 74 years after Independence
-Forgot what happened in Hathras? 74 years after independence.
-Dalit man in Kot village killed for eating infront of an upper caste man. 74 years after Independence.
etc etc anddd etc.
Also mind you what you see feel experience is only 40% of India. 60% of India is still rural.
Please do some basic self research on a subject matter to understand the issues more holistically,than taking a privileged vomited down approach.

Yes problems are there and it's real but the existing reservation and upliftment laws are outdated and ineffective in present scenario so it needs to be reformed
